What a game, what a result. Has anyone changed their mind on how our season will finish?

I'd love to say we're staying up but we've been too inconsistent this season, more than normal, for me to be sure of our safety.

But of we do, AT deserves a knight hood (not sure he deserves another contract as manager, as I don't think I could take another season like it, even of we do say up)

I said if we could follow up a hardworking point with a home win I would believe and I stand by it. Biggest reason for hope is that we are putting an unbeaten run together. We are in with a shout

I think our luck will run out eventually.

Couple of key injuries with this small sqaud and we are fooked.

Looking promising at the moment but there are still 7 games to go and they are coming thick and fast. If we can get bodies back such as Bell, Cameron and Wood and keep Nimely, Platt and McDonald wrapped in cotton wool we might just do it.

I have voted our luck will run out, if by some chance we can pick up an away win then i might change my mind.
Home form is ok at the moment, its that elusive away win we need, and its never been forthcoming. Cardiff could have been it, what with a penalty miss and hitting the bar. We need that away win !!!

Only Southampton, West Ham and Watford have a better recent run than us! Now 5 unbeaten!

Every single goal, and every single point, in each remaining game- they all matter from now on.

Look at forest's late equaliser yesterday- how vital could that be for them? If they had lost, we would be three points behind them. Now, they have a four point gap instead, which means we need at least two good results (out of seven games left) to gou our way, before we can catch them.

That point at Cardiff was massive for us, also underlining the importance of fighting for everything, in each and every match.

I can't help feeling that if we can overhaul Bristol, we'll do it!

The goals thing is still worrying me too. Might sound a bit crazy on the back of 4 goals in the last two games, but it is a concern.

Clive Platt - 27 appearances, 3 goals.
Alex Nimely - 13 appearances 1 goal.

Great that we are getting goals from the likes of Clarke and Norwood and Sheff will always chip in of course, but we need our strikers scoring too to give us a real chance of getting out of this.

My only hope is that now other players are chipping in that, that in turn will give Nimely a bit more space. He's hardly looked like scoring lately though has he.

As I say, some may think it a bit daft talking now about goals after 2 yesterday and 2 at Cardiff, but I am looking forwards rather than backwards. Trying to look at the big picture. 7 games to go. We need goals from everywhere on the pitch, but we certainly need our front two contributing as well.

Still hoping Cody McDonald will be the answer these last few games in.

Funny enough I was looking at goals tallys last night & thinking there are more goals in McDonald, Thomas, Clarke, Hussey, Baker & Christie if they can keep this momentum up. A midfield & defence that doesn't chip in now & then is a good part of the reason why we are in this league position.

Oh, the foolish optimism that a win can bring, I need something bad to happen to bring me back down to earth.

That's good to hear but as we said we need promotion form to stay up!

We probably don't. Portsmouth and Doncaster are on major slumps and Bristol are not doing a lot better.
There will be shock results but you suspect that avoiding defeat at bristol will be the main factor. It is too close to call as defeat there will be a major problem.
Despite the optimism on the last game I see us getting nothing there at all so we need safety before that point.
