i said no just for the craic even tho im in canada haha

What are you like, Irish? I think we should re-start the poll. Can we have another poll to see if we should re-start this poll - plus I think Irish should be excluded from voting for skewing this poll (we could vote on that, too, if people think that's the fairset way of doing it) By the way, I was a yes voter, mainly because it's my one interest outside of family (how sad is that) and is a guilty 'pleasure'. Having said that, I would also give up my time to do something (lawful) that would help remove our owners. Not everything is black or white.

Stalking? What are you talking about?

Why are do fail to understand the point being made not just by me but several other posters?

It's nothing to do with whose the best supporter.

That's not the intention of the poll made is it?
I can read and then understand what I have read. You understand what you want it to say. Enough people have explained it to you. But as usual you have ignored them.

And on the stalking. You mentioned straight away that I am not a ST holder. You kept trying to make points against most posts I made. Just like you normally do.

I don't know what your problem is with me. I have even offered to drive to Coventry several times to pick you up and take you to an away game. I know you never go to them although you are a superfan who has a season ticket. Don't worry. I would look after you. You would then see how dedicated other supporters are.

So how about it Grendel? Cut the crap out about having constant digs at me. Do an away game. Then maybe you will stop having a pop at those who do away games. Don't let my size worry you. I am friendly. And you never know. You might even enjoy yourself ;)

To clarify, I have a season ticket, have done for many a year ( Northampton aside) and I'm not renewing for next season. My lad has not missed a game since his 1st on 26th April 2008, a 1 all draw V Wolves (Northampton aside). He will not be renewing. As things currently stand my brother and Dad are not renewing. Whatever the decision you make, then it's yours to make, you should not feel persecuted for your own view. For me, the club is in a horrendous place, I've grown up watching us sell our best players time and time again so it's nothing new ( Terry Gibson was the first hero of mine to be sold) however we were fighting to survive at the highest level possible. Over the last few years I don't believe the owners are interested in that. What's the point in toddling along, we live in a competitive world, we dont just want a football club for the sake of having a football club, we want a club that's at least trying to do something, whether that be fighting for promotions or once again establishing form roots with this city. We don't want to be the kid who gets a medal for participating and coming last. Where as the owners seem to want to own the club without taking any responsibility for it. There has to be clear leadership at the club, once that's in place then the fans will slowly start to trickle back.

"sorry to hear that scottie"

Seems fairly clear to me. A pretty straightforward question to a group of people who are presumably fairly keen on Coventry City as they are on a fans forum, asking, in the light of the current situation, who is likely to renew or get a season ticket next year.

Result pretty clear as well. Something like 84% are saying no! So unless something changes Fisher & Co are heading for a shock. Why did they come back from Northampton do you think? Would they have come back if 7000 were going?

84% of people saying no is an awful lot if they are all season ticket holders at the moment. If they are not, nothing will change from this season. Its important to have the context.

But if the questions were.....

'will you be buying a season ticket next season'

'Only buy one if SISU left'

Wouldn't buy one whatever

.......we would have a better idea. I would fall into the middle one.

It's bollocks, if I was in charge any person who phoned in I'd have called each one individually if they said they weren't going to renew a service with my company for example.

The CCFC marketing team should have a look at this thread and make it their priority to reach out to people who say they won't personally. Of course not everybody is going to suddenly jump and change their mind but if they got a "really sorry to hear this, this is the plan, it might be a bit of hard work for a couple of years, how about a signed photo or a chance to pop down to ryton or the ricoh for an open training day if you want to renew" then people would be more inclined to.

Just to make people feel slightly human and something slightly personal.

It is the fact that Fisher can't be bothered to do as you suggest and to act on all the other money raising ideas frequently mentioned on here which, I think, shows that he couldn't really care less. On the fan hand he bleats on about the need for 365 day a year revinues but then does nothing to raise money in any other way. In fact he could not alienate fans any better if he was trying to with his smug, arrogant attitude.

lol well poll on polls why dont we have a referendum while were at it ha, if i did live in cov i would probably go game to game tbh everyone works for their money and up to them how they choose spend it, yes we love our club thats why we support them through thick or thin but fans are the why the club is there if its not being run properly every support and person on this forum has their right to decide if they want go or not and spend or money in my opinion. Yes theres fans out there that can go about it the wrong way but meh thats individual people and football we all show our frustrations in different ways!

81% not buying/renewing

not good at all. but also understandable as its to get sisu out
Yeah, doesn't bode well although the flaw in the poll is it doesn't identify whether you already have a ST or not or whether people will still go to games as and when but not buy a ST. I'd be surprised if the crowds drop much lower than 6.5-7k next season at worst.

To early really to vote on this if we are religated I would expect it to be even worse than the poll suggests.
If we get in a few good players go on a run and finish in a decent position it will not fall as much.
But a big BUT
If we stay up and Sisu fuck off and the new owners spend a few quid then we would have an increase on this season.

You're basing that on League One though, right?

Will probably get one for me and son. If not we will choose home games and go to some away.
Decision is not down to relegation or not and not on whether we still have Fisher and SISU here....but more on whether son is playing more football himself.

Don't know about next season yet (S T) but the Bolton game I've decided to miss it going away next day although in years gone by no chance I would have driven to the airport about 1 in the morning sooner than miss any game .I just feel like it's to much effort for to much disappointment.

Will not be renewing .
Granted we will have a worse team on the field the less people go , but at the end of the day i can't just keep buying season tickets because I love the club, eventually they have to have a product worth investing into .
Emotionally blackmailing the fans will be the silliest thing fisher did , because the onus is on them to get the "customers " not the other way around
