i said no just for the craic even tho im in canada haha
I can read and then understand what I have read. You understand what you want it to say. Enough people have explained it to you. But as usual you have ignored them.Stalking? What are you talking about?
Why are do fail to understand the point being made not just by me but several other posters?
It's nothing to do with whose the best supporter.
That's not the intention of the poll made is it?
To clarify, I have a season ticket, have done for many a year ( Northampton aside) and I'm not renewing for next season. My lad has not missed a game since his 1st on 26th April 2008, a 1 all draw V Wolves (Northampton aside). He will not be renewing. As things currently stand my brother and Dad are not renewing. Whatever the decision you make, then it's yours to make, you should not feel persecuted for your own view. For me, the club is in a horrendous place, I've grown up watching us sell our best players time and time again so it's nothing new ( Terry Gibson was the first hero of mine to be sold) however we were fighting to survive at the highest level possible. Over the last few years I don't believe the owners are interested in that. What's the point in toddling along, we live in a competitive world, we dont just want a football club for the sake of having a football club, we want a club that's at least trying to do something, whether that be fighting for promotions or once again establishing form roots with this city. We don't want to be the kid who gets a medal for participating and coming last. Where as the owners seem to want to own the club without taking any responsibility for it. There has to be clear leadership at the club, once that's in place then the fans will slowly start to trickle back.
Seems fairly clear to me. A pretty straightforward question to a group of people who are presumably fairly keen on Coventry City as they are on a fans forum, asking, in the light of the current situation, who is likely to renew or get a season ticket next year.
Result pretty clear as well. Something like 84% are saying no! So unless something changes Fisher & Co are heading for a shock. Why did they come back from Northampton do you think? Would they have come back if 7000 were going?
But if the questions were.....84% of people saying no is an awful lot if they are all season ticket holders at the moment. If they are not, nothing will change from this season. Its important to have the context.
It's bollocks, if I was in charge any person who phoned in I'd have called each one individually if they said they weren't going to renew a service with my company for example.
The CCFC marketing team should have a look at this thread and make it their priority to reach out to people who say they won't personally. Of course not everybody is going to suddenly jump and change their mind but if they got a "really sorry to hear this, this is the plan, it might be a bit of hard work for a couple of years, how about a signed photo or a chance to pop down to ryton or the ricoh for an open training day if you want to renew" then people would be more inclined to.
Just to make people feel slightly human and something slightly personal.
What are you like, Irish? I think we should re-start the poll. Can we have another poll to see if we should re-start this poll - plus I think Irish should be excluded from voting for skewing this poll (we could vote on that, too, if people think that's the fairset way of doing it) By the way, I was a yes voter, mainly because it's my one interest outside of family (how sad is that) and is a guilty 'pleasure'. Having said that, I would also give up my time to do something (lawful) that would help remove our owners. Not everything is black or white.
Don't let my size worry you. I am friendly. And you never know. You might even enjoy yourself
Yeah, doesn't bode well although the flaw in the poll is it doesn't identify whether you already have a ST or not or whether people will still go to games as and when but not buy a ST. I'd be surprised if the crowds drop much lower than 6.5-7k next season at worst.81% not buying/renewing
not good at all. but also understandable as its to get sisu out
Hmm, hard to tell, isn't it.I'd be surprised if the crowds drop much lower than 6.5-7k next season at worst.
You're basing that on League One though, right?Yeah, doesn't bode well although the flaw in the poll is it doesn't identify whether you already have a ST or not or whether people will still go to games as and when but not buy a ST. Yep, but I don't think it will that much lower than that in league two. You're basing that on League One though, right?
Nope. You know your club is fucked when relegation isn't even the biggest variable on whether you get a new season ticket or not.
