i didnt even realise we were playing tomorrow :(

Serious question ...... Why are on you on a sky blues football forum and not know when games are on?

Its like me being on a ballroom dancing forum and saying on there that I didn't know that there was a salsa competition on Saturday night.

Its moronic and makes no sense.

It's to make some kind of 'point' I would assume. Of course he knew we were playing.

Bit harsh on ccfcway.
Approx 9000 of us now have other things to do on Saturdays, due to the lack of home games (ie in Coventry).
Is it any wonder that that causes some dis-connection with the football club ?

Me neither. Honestly. I really didn't know we were playing tomorrow. And not trying to make any point at all. It's just when you're not 'part' of things the way you used to be, there is a kind of disconnection. Think you are being rather unfair kingofkings.

I have lived and breathed Coventry City FC every day of my entire life, but I honestly did not know we were playing tomorrow night. Have no idea who against or whether we are home or away and the same for next Saturday too.

Sad times we live in. :(

you assume incorrectly !

I honestly didn't. First time in a very long time i wasnt aware we were playing, as i hadnt heard any of the usual comments from any players, pressley etc post match, where they normally say "tuesday is a big game" etc. I wrongly assumed our next game was next saturday.

If that is moronic, then i apologise

No I get people are disillusioned and have lost track with everything that is going on but I don't get why you are on a sky blues forum when it is to discuss the upcoming matches and teams etc.

So my point is if you don't care or lost track or found other things to do then great that's fair enough but why are you on here?

Makes no sense.

I do care, i stil listen to every game on the radio, go to some away games. I didnt realise we were playing tomorrow as I havent noticed the usual pre match talk which is normally the trigger for me to see when the next game is.

Am i still allowed on here, or is it only for those that go to every game and have the fixtures on an excel spreadsheet ?

If you are a ST holder or attend games regularly you are always checking the fixture list and often moving work / personal life around to accommodate home games. If you don't go to Sixfields then you don't access it as regularly - simples.

Another moron here I'm afraid. Anyway, it would be a shame for WIlson to miss out now with the form he is in. He is a good lad with a great future.

I don't go any home games or have an excel spread sheet so that's false. My point is still valid that you should realise there was a game Tuesday night in my opinion else why be on a sky blues forum. More than one way to find out when a game is on apart from the usual "trigger".

also even if you didn't know the game wasn't on then why say it on a thread started by the OP about Wilson and seabourne being injured so completely ignoring and disrespecting the OP. Start your own thread "Didn't know a game was on Tuesday night" and then you can talk about it there all you want.

Again some one missing the point. Find out from I dont know a fixture list they are normally a good place to start looking for the next fixtures. Why are you looking at a forum for the next match when a fixture list tells you. Made me laugh at least. This thread is about Wilson and seaborne possibly being out of the game?

Can we just have your views on this rather than stating you now know when the next game is, Congratulations.

Either that or start your own thread asking when the next game is? Just simple suggestions.

I'd have to defend ccfcway here, mainly because I also don't know who we're playing when without exaggeration for protest shitfields effect.

Not going to games any longer makes it very easy to lose touch, even if you're on the internet reading about warring supporter groups and whistles on a regular basis.

the irony of this is when i put "i didn't know we were playing tomorrow", after that i put "thanks for letting me know", but deleted that bit as I thought the OP would take it the wrong way.
