The fact that Wilson has had a run is due to Morosi not being good enough (at least since his injury)
The obvious conclusion is that we need a better keeper if we are to compete in this league next season, I'd also say that Mcfadz is ready to be replaced, and id look for a new right wing back as McCallum hasn't looked solid all season.
That should hopefully sort the dodgy defence out.
How many times has Marosi played since coming back? Wilson is a league 2 reserve keeper.
Agree we need a better keeper next season though but upfront is far more of a concern.

He's a backup keeper for a reason no point getting on his back. He's contributing what he can and it might be enough go keep us up in an injury ravaged season.

Indeed. I wouldn’t mind keeping him as backup next season but that would be largely based on him only making 5 or so appearances (if that many!). Same goes with Biamou.

Maroši another who has got better with injury I see.

Neither are good enough.
I think the opposite it this case. Most were content with Marosi until he got injured and now he’s not good enough to replace Wilson and needs shipping out.

FWIW I wouldn’t be against replacing him with better in the summer but people making out he’s been at fault for a load of goals is just plain false.

Yeah, he was brought back too soon really, due to circumstance.

Thing I keep wondering is just how bad is Lee Camp now, if we'd rather release him, let alone play him, when we have Wilson and an injured Marosi on the books.

He was poor last night. When he came in to cover Marosi he did a lot better than I thought he would but I'd like to see Marko back in for Wycombe, he's our number 1 keeper and we need that kind of stability at the back now.

The trouble is both Marosi and Wilson have weaknesses. I dont think it matters much which one plays.

We need to upgrade next year and get a keeper capable at this level. Because of our success last year I thought Marosi got an easy ride and made to look better than he was.

The goalkeeping situation sums the forum up perfectly.

"Marosi is out, we'll lose every game as Wilson is terrible"
"Marosi is fit again. Get him back in"
"Why has Wilson been dropped, Marosi is terrible. Get him back in"
"Why is Wilson playing when Marosi is fit, Wilson is terrible. Get him back in"

Sticking up a bit for Ben Wilson he came in for the injured Marosi and has done in the main okay but Imo he is not the better keeper, the defence will know that and is why it looks like at corners and set pieces they tend to crowd round him. He’s a decent reserve but time has come for Marosi to come back in.

Always thought Marosi was an alright keeper and that Wilson was a shit keeper. I still think it now. No doubt Marosi will be a bit wary having had his face caved in by those Welsh cunts but absolutely no way he shouldn't be in the team. Never want to see Wilson in our goal again.

I would have agreed with you a month ago, but goalkeeping is now a real problem. We’re losing goals now because of goalkeeping errors, if Marosi’s confidence isn’t totally shot after his injury, he needs to be back in Saturday.

I worry about Marosi vs a bit physical side like Wycombe after his performance against Cardiff, however I’d still have him in ahead of Wilson.

I remember in his handful games last season he dropped some real clangers, on top of that, the mistake against Rangers in pre season. He looked a total liability. I was fearing the worst when he came in after MM's injury. He did better than I expected I've got to say, but had a lot of luck too. However in recent weeks there have been some soft goals conceded. He's not big enough, so any balls in from corners or free kicks can result in goals, also whenever the ball is played back to him it fills me with panic. He just looks like he could drop a clanger at any moment.

You’re absolutely right, he wasn’t an issue before his injury, and although we do need better, he was definately ahead of Wilson. I just worry that Robins isn’t playing him because he has lost confidence after what was a pretty horrendous injury.

That's probably just one poster too.

Regarding Marosi and his injury it was a bad one he only played against Cardiff because Wilson was ill and there was no one else wouldn’t be surprised if it still niggles him but he is hopefully over the worst, he has to play, Wycombe is a perfect fixture to do so.

Wycombe might even have snatched their third away victory of the season late on when substitute Fred Onyedinma was denied by Ben Wilson.

He takes shit and made a mistake against Luton but he also a saved a few that should have been put away by Luton due to his quick movement off the line. I love Marosi by the way.
