I thought they’ve both looked okay today, hard to tell in just a single friendly,cranie to me seems composed and can play anywhere across the back if needed, hopefully it’s not an either or as we could do with the options.

I think it should be both as Cranie's versatility is an asset but we need an alternative to Maatsen to cover injury (and potentially a loss of form)
I'm just basing it off the fact we were told 3/4 more signings before maatsen came in.
I can't imagine the 'long-term target is Craine or souare, so I think it will be a loan CB as the long-term target and I'm still expecting a CM, so I don't see there being the scope for both.
Agreed could do with the options but it will all depend on budget.
