How about putting a headline like "Ecclestone named among Wisden cricketers of the year" under Women's Cricket, and have this article (unchanged) under Cricket?

Think its a reference to the fact that on the cricket home page the story is categorised as women's cricket.
Think that's a quirk of the website. Those labels are essentially tags so this story is categorised under mens cricket, womens cricket and cricket.
But the website doesn't seem to really cope with that and only displays one category against the story on the cricket home page.

Yeah, it should just be tagged "Cricket"! No England Women will be on the 2025 list given the absolute hiding they got in the "Ashes", so this won't be an issue next year!

Watched it and I still don't know!
From what I can see, A glorified 6a-side with some you-tubers(?) apparently (?) commentating and managing teams.
Players are non league players, a few ex pro's with a sprinkling of FL appearances between them, and a fat Troy Deeney, who in his first game belly bounced an opposing player and got sent off.
It is shite!
Fully expecting Brad Collins to rock up next season..... As a back up!

The problem with Womens football is that it has franchised itself to the Premier League. Many of the teams do not play at the grounds they are badged to.
It has created an illusion that the top league has equal status to the mens
There was a complaint about the Final played on Derbys pitch with the players saying it was disrespectful as the players are elite athletes and although its OK for lower league mens football premier players should not play on it - the irony that many games are played at non league stadia seems lost on them

Pub league level with pitiful attendances lower than L2 being above an FA Cup Semi final.
Just to be clear, I have no issue with women's football, bit the "on par" debate is a joke. They played a game at the Emirates and have fuck all theree, then want equal pay
