Worry not - Platt is nearly fit (1 Viewer)

Yes during the after match phone in, Linnell tried to appease a fan with the possibility that big Clive will be ready soon. The fan was lost for words.

Big Clive will be 34 in October, he had never played in the championship until AB spotted his talent. He hasn't scored a goal since October 2010.

I'm looking forward to the Gael-Platt commentary

In all seriousness we need him.

Our bench looks so shit at the moment and we have absolutely no options off the bench.

Would much rather bring Platt on for the last 20 mins when chasing a game than Jeffers. (no disrespect to Shaun)

While I get the mocking tone, one thing in particular we're lacking is a strike partner for Jutkiewicz. I'd go for Platt as that player over McSheffrey, O'Donovan and Jeffers.

To be fair, he played in the Championship for Colchester.

We need anyone who has played professional football before to be fair, we are most certainly beggars, and therefore cannot be choosers.

Deegan??? He has hardly been fit since joining us and frankly I don't think he ever will be! We have had players before who were unable to take the strain of league football week in week out and in Deegan we have another.

I just sat down and realised quite how sh*t things are when I am looking forward to the return of Platt, as it will improve the team.

To be fair platt never let us down, limited ability for sure but he gave his all for us. Give the man a break and least he tries.
