For people being cold, when we won 3-1(?) at MK Dons when they played at that hockey stadium. I've never been so cold at a football ground ever. Even when we scored I reckon half of the fans couldn't jump up as they were frozen to the wooden bench type stand we were stood on. Still sends shivers down me when I think of it.
Forest green was a shit game and annoying wet away end but I quite liked Nailsworth.
Been trying to do a link to this thread Ol
There is a thread from back in 2011 titled
'What was your worst ever away day
There might be a few decent ones in there
but I'm lacKing the techy skills to link it.

Blackpool away in 2007/8. Five hours on the M6 to get in with a minute to spare, late December in the uncovered stand so it was arctic, Kevin Kyle sent off a few minutes after their opener and it got worse from there. After their third of four goals we fucked it off early and then got stuck in a traffic jam on the way home anyway. Worst game I've seen in every possible way.
Did syndicate have the revolving dancefloor? We spent the weekend in Blackpool for this one.
It was absolutely freezing and wet/icy in Blackpool if I remember correctly. After a pretty raucous Friday night we ended up back in the pub about 11am on the Saturday. Staggered up the road just in time for kickoff, to witness the most abject display I’ve perhaps ever seen from City, stuck on that temporary scaffold Terrace in the cold and wind. Suffice to say we headed straight back to Yate’s and got “on the shots” at about 5pm.... eventually exiting Syndicate nightclub absolutely fucked at about 3am... the next morning was just as bad, coupled by a quite agonising hangover, in fact i was in such a poor state my little brother had to drive us home because I could barely lift my head, let alone open my eyes...

Gary’s coaches ? LolGetting left at Michael Wood services by one of the coaches on the way back from Bristol City.
I went that day my mate had an XR2 silver I had a Cavalier and it was like driving in a winter wonderland as the roads were white and so where the trees. We left from the Styvechale arms lol!Set off for that game, 4 of us in my mates Fiesta XR2 with a broken heater, absolutely freezing! We stopped at a supermarket for more cans only to be told village gossip style by this bearded bumpkin that the 'match was off, frozen pitch!' Returning to supermarket car park, my mate had picked up a parking ticket for using a disabled bay, signage obscured by the frosty ground.
Oops wrong thread!Incredible
Sorry, had to chuckle at myself! That was a classic GMK thread!Getting left at Michael Wood services by one of the coaches on the way back from Bristol City.

I didn’t go but I imagine Sutton Utd must have been pretty bad.
My old man picked me up from my mate’s house that day. When he told me we’d lost I refused to believe him; thought he was winding me up! Took him about an hour to convince me he was telling the truth! That was an early ko time IIRC, and I was playing against some team from Cov (played for Warks County Council) and about to take a corner, when some bloke on the side told me City were losing. I'd forgotten it was an early kick off and went into a state of semi-shock trying to get my head around it - Guinness book of records for the longest time to take a corner!
Watford away when we lost 5-2 (just had to Google the year - 2002).
Had been out bang at it the night before ending up in Scholars and then was on the early train to Watford. Managed to squeeze a beer down me on the way down but then we got to the boozer and the hangover properly kicked in and I was in a bad way.
Long story short spent the whole game sat by the home fans with my head in my hands wanting to puke my guts up whilst we got spanked on the pitch.
Left with about 15 mins to go fucked straight off to the train station, got the first train back to Cov and went home to bed where I should have stayed from the start!!
Actually also Watford away again when the game got called off because of the death of the lad they had on loan from Man U (Jimmy?) and they closed all the pubs down in the town centre to try and get us out of Watford. We managed to find a snooker club to have a few then my brother arrived and drove us to Bicester where we went on the lash in a mates pub.
Me too. We've all seen Steve Walsh's classic City career, at least.I went to both these games.
