Worst refereeing I’ve ever witnessed. Yet he won’t get punished for such a shameful display. Lampard will get a hefty fine and a touch line ban though, it’s fucking bonkers

The one where their player took and run up and leapt into MVE was unbelievable
See thread title for explanation. Can anybody explain the bit where their player got up, went for mve to block him, fell over and won a free kick?
Its the way nothing seems to happen. if I had a day where I performed like that at work I'd be hauled into a meeting, and be on some sort of probation if I managed to talk my way into not getting fired on the spot.At what point is it just corruption rather than being shit?
It's not corruption. At what point is it just corruption rather than being shit?
Refs are too protected
Yeah but you're being shit and the punishment goes to others for daring to talk about it.Its the way nothing seems to happen. if I had a day where I performed like that at work I'd be hauled into a meeting, and be on some sort of probation if I managed to talk my way into not getting fired on the spot.
We see appalling officiating week in, week out and nothing happens. If anything it's getting worse.
That was the one that wound me up the mostSame against Sheffield United with Campbell.
At points it was mind blowing.
Their player got up and ran at mve to block him, no intention of being near the ball. He wins a free kick.
Can't blame him for the goals but let's face it. Cunts like that ruin the game, surprised he didn't go get a drink when they decided they wanted a break.
Referee should be doing interviews after the game explaining it.That was the one that wound me up the most
Rudoni saw it and mve and he got booked - what for!!!!!
Yellow though and givenThe one where their player took and run up and leapt into MVE was unbelievable
One of the worst things about VAR is how it’s made referees unable to make their own decisions. So indecisive. Linesman just as bad today, may as well not have been there.
Bit harsh sending him to the Scottish Premier League mate.Worst ref ever, needs demoting to non league level.
Yeah, everybody in the ground saw it was a corner. Both sets of players, then the ref is like nah fuck that and runs off to give a goal kick.
This was possibly the funniest. I genuinely giggled it was that bad.
I'm pretty sure he did it with a throw in just after as well. The linesman gave us a corner in the 2nd half and the ref ignored him
Corruption is dumbass talk - it was a classic case of a ref getting a big early call wrong (our goal was miles offside) and then massively overcompensating to try and even it out.
Thought he was shocking personally. Haven't seen the first goal back but Wright looks offside, Brownlee went flying in and was nowhere near the ball, sending off? Gave them everything when they fell over. Let them take as long as they want at stoppages etc.
Lampard was stupid for getting himself sent off, completely pointless, just have the showers in the refs dressings at scalding hot or freezing cold.
Exactly this. He’s not corrupt, just hopeless at his job. Which is worse, at least if he was corrupt he’d have been that bad on purposeAgree, not corruption. But he was fucking awful and your over compensating theory is bollocks as well
It's no wonder they don't concede when refs stop the game whenever they decide they want it stopping.
Clear corner, everybody sees it, lino flags it. Nah. Let's give a goal kick for no reason at all and take the pressure off.
The drinks break and that decision must be two of the most mental things I’ve seen a ref do. Not since I saw a lino give offside from a throw in at HR have I been so apoplectic at the officials.
It's madness he would get into trouble for saying anything about it.Impressive response from Joe Edwards. Not trying to get into trouble but made it quite clear that second half angered us all for a reason.
