Who else was at Villa Park in 91 when we had to draw to stay up? Conceded a goal by Regis after about 25 seconds and we kicked off!
I'd forgot that!I was there, very young. I can remember cov fans running across the pitch from the Holte End.

Id forgotten that as well! Whole thing was chaos!I remember one of our fans then sat on the centre circle refusing to move . Thanks to Notts County on that day

Didnt England have to win 9-0 or something that game?San Marino, Stuart Pearce. Close thread.
A special mention for Derby when when we went 2-0 up around 81st minute and then avoided losing 3-2 thanks to the crossbar. Not too sure about kick offs but I could make a list as long as my arms about games we’ve fucked up in added time by conceding x2 goals
Crystal Palace and Blackpool both away both on Tuesday nights and both in the Andy Thorn season for a start

That was a grim away day. Managed to get thrown out for bad behaviour as well - actually it was probably a blessing. And of course who could forget this under Coleman

Up until 2020 Portman Road may as well have been Deepdale. Terrible record thereThat was a grim away day. Managed to get thrown out for bad behaviour as well - actually it was probably a blessing.
Can't remember the year, but Osbourne floundering at right back, us losing 4-1(?) stands out as a particular highlight.Up until 2020 Portman Road may as well have been Deepdale. Terrible record there
The thing is, back in the day we always kicked off at 3:15 at HR on a Saturday.Cov v Bristol City 3.15 ……
Yep… I was in the Holte end. Loads of us at the front.I was there, very young. I can remember cov fans running across the pitch from the Holte End.
Yeah it was. I always have an urge to leap to Robson's defence on here because he gets some stick and was actually a superb player for us for most of his first season. But then I remember that kick off!Was that Stewart Robson losing the ball after kick off and then running around aimlessly
I liked him too, quality player - most of the timeYeah it was. I always have an urge to leap to Robson's defence on here because he gets some stick and was actually a superb player for us for most of his first season. But then I remember that kick off!
Equally the 1-0 win we got there in 2020 was when I became convinced we’d go up. Really confident performance that was. Can't remember the year, but Osbourne floundering at right back, us losing 4-1(?) stands out as a particular highlight.
tbf, is usually far easier to recall the humiliating thrashings of years gone by than the heroic victories!
We got spanked there on the TV when we got relegated from the Championship as wellCan't remember the year, but Osbourne floundering at right back, us losing 4-1(?) stands out as a particular highlight.
