So, working on the premise that you want to do as much damage as possible to the club and fan base, what would be the best way?
I'm guessing sell anyone of value to keep the club going until relegation next year. Then liquidate and take Ryton, leaving us with no assets, and a points deduction going into the conference. Does that sound possible?
I assume there's no golden share in the conference so what happens to the club then? Do the FA decide who becomes CCFC or are we just fucked and start again at the bottom? Anyone know?
Edit: found the rules. There's a similar golden share type procedure, but interestingly the requirement for football creditors is stricter than the FL one, all football creditors must be paid in full before the new owners take over. So maybe one final kick in the teeth could be some kind of large debt to the players or another club.
