The Wembley final was brilliant . It showed what huge potential this club still has. I for one didn't think we could sell out our initial 39,000 allocation due to years of decline, but how wrong I was.
I went in 1987 to Wembley. This time round of course it meant little in the context of the greater footballing world, but I will not forget the atmosphere and the pride I felt in experiencing Wembley 2017.

. I know relegation has financial implications that more than offset any success the cup run brought, but would I give up that one fantastic day ? Never.

Wembley was a day of fantastic, positive memories (very few in the last decade) a once in a lifetime moment (potentially) for thousands, relegation imo was always nailed on this season or next so it hasn't come as a surprise and if I'd been told off relegation this season and a JPT win at Wembley I'd have taken it.

I do however think I will be In he minority on this.

You know what, I wouldn't give that cup up for anything. Season ticket holder for more years then I can remember, apart from Northampton of course, so years of decline and a little silver lining, one of my best days ever. Wife and daughter with their heads in hands not being able to watch with 5 mins left....priceless.

Now we are down I am looking forward to this division new grounds and I think that once we start winning we will get some good crowds..... so no wouldn't swap it!!!!!

Personally, no. L1 is a poor standard of football, L2 whilst disappointing is really just more of the same.

We've finally had a bloody good day out at Wembley as a unified bunch of supporters, and won something too! No way I'd swap that for survival in the third tier, though I appreciate others may differ.

No, it was a special day. All fans felt united and it was an experience that I hope my 5 year old boy will remember forever. More importantly, he now thinks the City are as good as Barca etc. He's got the love, and I've taken him to quite a few games this season but he usually wants to leave after an hour. Not Wembley, it was different and I would never swap it.

I was lucky enough to attend the FA Cup Final, and I was just glad for my long suffering kids, and all those born after the cup final win, for them to have a day out at Wembley and see the Club win something. Amongst the last 10 years and more of shit, I wouldn't begrudge them that, relegation or not.

Yep me too and maybe most of us on here! I wouldn't swap it as it was one of them bucket list things that I thought I would never get to tick off-i.e., my son and me seeing our team win together at Wembley. I was there myself in 87 and never thought I'd see it again amongst the more that we have found ourselves in in the last few years.

Let's say we did stay up instead, imagine if we got relegated next year? Also imagine if we get promoted next season. That would be a cup final and a promotion in consecutive seasons.

Anyway no I would not swap the day! Why... well simple really. We have not won anything in over 30 years, this cup we done it. We achieved and crossed the line and won!!

That means potentially we can build on winning something. And I do believe with robins we will next season.. keep him and we will be successful next season I feel that!

I was right when sat at the county ground opening day and said both these teams will go down this year was a poor game. So I do believe at moment we will go up next year.

So no wont change the cup win for anything. We are finally able to say we can win things.

What's the point in any of it, really?

We'd just struggle next year instead and not have won a cup or had a day out and all the potential future benefits that will have (made a fan in my house at least).

For those reasons, I wouldn't switch. If we're going to turn the club around, it won't take much more to do it from L2 than L1, if we're not it's just delaying the inevitable. And anyway, I'm still in the delusional phase where I think we'll storm the league next season

One of the best days out as a a fan I've had, so no wouldn't swap it. If it meant the difference between a total change in fortunes for the club, then yes I would in a heartbeat.
