Not bothered about that, more bothered about offending others just reading ;)

If writing something, reading it back and realising it was wrong and apologising for it is that bad then guilty.

Nothing. It the equivilent of saying look over there and running off in the opposite direction.

You see. If certain posters are pointing at the trust, wasps, ACL, CCC, Higgs, our fans, MM, SP, AL, GR, JE, NE, AL, PWKH etc. etc. Then they dont have to talk about SISU's failings.

Que "when have I ever said SISU dont share any of the blame" excuse and a poor one at that.

Is that the same as somebody wanting to talk about a game of football and others just going on and on about bullshit about how fans going to games are supporting court cases?

The trust thing was aimed at past events with all the NOPM crap that happened...

Oh and nobody has never said SISU aren't to blame are they? It is probably just that some people seem a bit obsessed about it trying to think up ways to "Spite" them and win the biggest SISU hater award which seems to make you "cool" nowadays. It is all well and good keep saying it is an excuse, but it hasn't actually happened has it? So it is more fact than an excuse.

No thanks, I think all of the people who will be at the freezing cold Ricoh tomorrow, listening on the radio and reading match threads and actually care about 11 blokes kicking (or trying) a ball are "cool". Not who can make the biggest protest banner or think up the stupidest song to sing.

Lets clear something up SickBoy. I don't follow Wasps at all. I went to 1 game. I may go to others, I may not. But even if I did, how does that effect me supporting CCFC? I've said all along no matter what happens, Cov comes 1st. If I was ever to get married, I'd make sure it wouldn't happen on a Saturday cus I wouldn't miss a game for the world. Wanna question my support now?

The Trust should just be shut down, they are as much use as a wet cardboard bag. They cosy up to Wasps and thenot their leaders cosy up to and support the franchise that is wasps.

Erm, no im not. That's the thing. How can I be a glory hunting fan boy if I support Coventry you fucking idiot. And further more, how is me going to a Wasps game any of your business? I like Rugby so I will go and see a rugby game. Cov RFC games are on at the same time as CCFC games so Wasps games are pretty much my only chance to see a rugby game. I would die for Coventry City so don't you dare question my love for this club.

So any criticism of any of those you mention is aimed at detracting from Sisu's failings? Is that right?

Anyone else, fine. Anyone else but SISU is when I have a problem.

Oh. And throwing in the occosional "I've never said that SISU dont have a share of the blame" doesn't count. Especially as it never if ever gets ellaborated on. Which is shocking when the majority who use the afore mentioned get out clause never seem to be able to shut up about blame and the other parties.

Nobody has said anybody else but SISU are to blame have they? Yes you can go off with your mocking and say it is an excuse but it hasn't happened so why do you keep saying it?

Mainly because I spend most of my time replying to people who are blinded with hatred for SISU so probably don't need to explain to them....

You have people shouting Joy Seppala's name in anger when we miss a penalty, you have people saying that when we go to games the fans are just funding their court cases, you have people saying SISU forced Wasps to move however many miles. You can't wonder why people do point out other people's failings in response a fair bit?

People accept that SISU have been shite (to put it nicely), I think 99% of people accept that by now. How many people can't see that other parties have done shit wrong too? That is probably why people have to point that out to them as they are too blinded by SISU hatred.

I think if 100% accepted other people had done stuff wrong then it wouldn't need to be posted, I don't feel the need to post what day of the week it is every day as people know it

I agree "I've never said that SISU dont have a share of the blame" is a standard cut and paste used when there is absolutely no defence of SISUs actions. Amazing is that, when anyone points out something, often glaringly obvious, that doesn't fit into the world view - the person who dared to do the pointing out, becomes a fervent Wasps fan or "council whore" etc. etc. etc.

Yes it was a bit OTT, I don't see the same outrage when people get personal threats though?

I think people are aware that not everything is SISUs fault. To imply otherwise is unfair and very arrogant. The buck Stops with SISU though. They are the owners. They had to deal with the council - which I am sure is not easy as the council are not commercial and probably drove SISU mad. But it is SISUs job to work round that in order to get what they want. The problem is that what SISU want and what we want are probably very different. SISU's first priority is their Investors. Sometimes that could also work out good for us and other times they couldn't give a monkey's about us. At the end of the day, Wasps and the council do not take the decisions on our Future. They may be at best be bit-players, but SISU are responsible for our plight - even if they don't actually miss the penalties, they are ultimately responsible for the players available for team selection.

Of course SISU hold the majority of the blame. But whether you like them or not they are still in some way providing so that the club can operate from day to day. How much they are really putting in versus what they should be if they want a return.. well that's another debate.

Throughout all of this ACL, CCC, Higgs and all the other cronies that stick their head above the parapet have contributed ZERO to the club financially. And before you start about the Ricoh build.... CCC and ACL have taken out far more out CCFC than they ever put in to that stadium.

I remember when Dhinsa was around.. and people desperately wanting McGinnity to just sell up (myself included) and all he would say was that he needed to see the money. And he was right. We've had years of these cunts giving it 'we're gonna pump millions into the club blah blah blah' but the only people that have put their money up has been SISU... and look how that has gone.

If there are people lined up that can do a better job.. stop talking shit and just put the money up and buy SISU out. Then at least we will see if all those people that won't come back till they've gone will actually stick to their word - or just come up with another shit excuse to justify why they don't care anymore.

Of course SISU own us, but I wouldn't say it is as simple as that, there are still external factors and people who can still have an impact on the club without owning us.

I own a car, it is parked outside, it doesn't mean if somebody kicks the door in then it is my fault as I own it does it?

I could own a business that relies on one particular specialist rented premises, I would say if the landlord wanted to they could play a big part in my business whether they own it or not....

I think it is glaringly obvious that Wasps have gone about their move in the right way and that, for them it was a good move. I also think that the council warned SISU that they would have to move on and that they had to in the end. I also believe that SISU would not have accepted the Wasps' deal based on their past refusals of deals and Tim's confirmation of this to David Conn. You yourself said that 19m would be ripping Tim off ( 5,5m cash plus Wasps paying 13,5m via their subsidiary = 19m ). Some say it was a "Gift", others hope that Wasps cannot afford the repayments on the 13,5m over 20 years. The repayments will be 800 - 900,000 a year depending on the interest rate. To be paid from ACL's future profits. They hope to make money on top of that to fund the team. We will see. That according to you is defending Wasps.
It is your world view says that I am defending Wasps - my world view is that I am stating my opinion, based upon what we know. I certainly do not count myself as a Wasps fan - I have never seen a Wasps' game. I am sad that Wasps are füll of optimism and that we are left arguing about how we get out of the league one Relegation struggle and whether it is better playing second fiddle at the Ricoh or playing in front of Maximum 12000 in Nuneaton ( or Warwick University ). The chances of SP leading a CCFC PL team on to the pitch in a gleaming new stadium in Nuneaton are absolute Zero. Forever. Does that make me a Wasps fan - or "Martwasp" as Grendel wittily puts it?

But your opening sentence illustrates what grates people (not you personally) but the fact is that the Wasps deal doesn't seem to bother you. Or that you think SISU got what they deserved. No thought to how hypocritical CCC have been in this, or the detrimental position as a result for CCFC.

Don't go so often anymore. Not directly to do with ownership, councils etc more that it isn't the same anymore.
The "old gang" that started in the 70s has dwindled (mainly for the off-the-pitch issues) and it just isn't the same anymore. It just doesn't excite me the way it used to - football as a whole doesn't anymore.
Not sure what would make me go more often except a decent team on the pitch and a better atmosphere off it.

I rent my pub. If I treated my landlord as SISU treated theirs ( not saying that the rent didn't have to be sorted ) I would be out on my arse. So, yes that would play a part in my business. My point being, that I have a good relationship with landlord and in my real-life case, the rent has been reduced and we have worked together to make the pub better. He is happy that his property is well maintained and I have a competitive rent. There are ways of dealing with outside players and it is up to SISU to get the best out of them . They have failed - with CCC, with Higgs, with the fans, and now - their own team. Trying to distress the landlord instead of trying for a rent reduction based on obvious facts, was a major mistake. Then comes Northampton, the Courts etc. etc.. I would immediately forgive them if they tried for the Ricoh in some form or somehow turned the team round. I do not hate SISU, but I hold them responsible - that is different.

Suppose if your land lord was charging you a fair few times more than the other pubs, oh and you get punters in but the land lords get the profit from the beer and crisps so you only make money from the event tickets.

You asked cheaper rent but they said no.

It bothers me, but it was obvious that this could happen. I don't care if SISU got what they deserved. I would rather SISU were not on the "we're building a stadium" trip. That is what let Wasps in. It Grates me that SISU do not go about things in "the right way". Did people follow them to Northampton? No, of course not. We are in a detrimental position because of SISU sticking to the new stadium and the JR. They could have used these as "bargaining chips" or pretended to give up the stadium, tried for a deal at the Ricoh again and if it didn't work, then go ahead with the stadium. But they didn't. Wasps just did what was best for them. Problem is - we didn't do what was best for us.

This whole "people are not bothered about the Wasps takeover" line is a self fulfilling prophecy.

SISU reaped what they sewn IMO. I wouldn't go as far as to say got what they deserved bacause CCFC were always going to be in the firing line.
