I agree, then as soon as you walk out they offer you dirt cheap rent to come back. Once back they say they want to build trust with you, three weeks later a brewery have bought itI#d throw the keys on the table and move to a shit pub 35 miles away and wait for my customers to follow.
This whole "people are not bothered about the Wasps takeover" line is a self forfilling prophecy.
SISU reaped what they sewn IMO. I wouldn't go as far as to say got what they deserved bacause CCFC were always going to be in the firing line.
I consider myself a proper supporter , BUT wont (Nopm) go until Sisu have gone , Why fund there court battles !!!
NoPM is just another excuse along the lines of "it's too cold", "it's too far", "it's too wet", "it's too expensive", "the football is shit", "the players are shit", "the manager is shit".
The best one I heard was some clown texting Cwr saying he was going to the fleet wood game but because of the news on the court case he couldn't go. Ha ha ha ha.

To be fair.... I would have checked the market price before I bought the pub. I would always leave a way back. I wouldn't slag the landlord off in public. I wouldn't have a spinmaster bullshitting and arranging customers' forums, I wouldn't knock the rent completely - e.g. have it paid to an escrow account awaiting a decision.... I would ensure there was always trust there. If another brewery did buy it, I would show through figures, that I have the Punters on my side and make an offer to be a shareholder or offer the Goodwill of my business for sale. Whatever happens, the landlord, the new brewery and myself would all be financially better off working together than suing each other, pissing the punters off or slagging each other off in public.
Personally I think any private landlord that rips off a homeless tenant and charged 10 times the going rate is an exploitative c**t but that's just me.
I may be old fashioned, but I think that any ruthless hedgefund owned by "the queen of debt" hardnosed businesswoman, must have been out of their commercial heads to have taken over a company being charged 10 times the going rate and then after 7 years suddenly notice that and say it was the landlords' fault - deserves what they get for being negligent.

What is the going rate for a stadium of the Ricoh's capacity?
So what do you think of the people who charged them 10 times the going rate at the start when they had no other choice? That's ok is it?
It is ok though, we would win every week in League two

It is getting harder and harder to support the team I must admit, I don't think we could sink any lower but League 2 could be that point. Supporting the team is like getting a kick in the balls at the moment but for some reason I keep coming back for more!!!
There are clubs for that.... google SM
As usual fails to address the point
Depends on the deal doesn't it? Or do you think £1.3 million was fair?
Based on what they paying to rent HR back. Mad situation. Who got CCFC into this hole? CCC had to jump in and then Higgs. They had to justify why to the taxpayers, plus all this was soon after the PL and people thought we would be back in the PL "by Christmas" so to say. It was also before Lehman brothers and the resulting financial meltdown. That doesn't make it right, but puts in perspective. No it is not ok and SISU should have said so at the takeover.
Don't be such a facetious plonker Nick. They had a choice of doing "Due Dilligience" They could have said "We will takeover CCFC if the high rent is an immediate discussion point" or even..."We will takeover CCFC but the rent is immediately drastically reduced" That would have been ok, wouldn't it?So what do you think of the people who charged them 10 times the going rate at the start when they had no other choice? Yes, they should have said "we will only take over if the rent goes down to £x" but we dont know that either way if they tried or didnt (sorry if its been said). They did try and get the rent down before moving but were told no, as the past regime did didn't they?
The nopm brigade and the hillers seem to hold themselves solely responsible for the club's return.
It's interesting that the majority of them also seem to be defending the wasps move to Coventry.
The point being that SISU were paying too much rent to someone you think of as a "c**t"? The answer being they chose to.
No you need to google the clubs history better. I said homeless which was long before sisu arrjved
I referred to that in an answer to Nick. SISU had the power at the takeover. Any residue shit is their fault for not having dealt with it at that time.
But let's just conveniently forget what went before.
Why were SISU interested in what went on before? They are a hedgefund. They should at least be able to read a balance sheet and identify the problems. So, I would say if anyone conveniently forgot anything, it was the decision taker in SISU who went ahead with the purchase. Not Martcov.
