Haven’t seen anything, but Wright could have suitors in MLS. Several teams could afford a $10m striker.

The most obvious right now being Atlanta. They have a big hole there after selling Giokamakis, are flush in cash, and Wright fits their President’s philosophy of signing prime-age DPs that have had success in multiple different leagues. As a bonus, Wright, as a black American, would be super marketable in Atlanta which is the epicenter of black culture in the States.

We paid more than $10m for him, so they'd have to pay at least double that.

They couldn’t afford what we would want

Ah yes, she could move back to Turkey or to Haji's hometown of LA.

Two places famed for having no societal issues, gun crime or daily protests and riots.

So...
Vik moves to Arsenal. Sporting then come in for Wright. His misses gets a nice place to live and we win all ways round...

Not what I want to happen but if something is to happen then this would represent a win win for us.

I think the OP is bollocks and the poster has a history of loving the negative. However in fairness, it’s Coventry related on a Coventry forum and airing it allows it to be squashed.

I think I’m more pissed off about the Kitching stuff, I honestly had no idea. I always thought he was a team player, good to have around camp type of character. This, combined with the earlier rumours re the ‘Barnsley Boys’ having an attitude, don’t bode well.

Don't really get the Barnsley Boys thing. Thomas was only at Barnsley for about 5 months on loan.

Yeah exactly we have 9m into him already and I'm sure his old team have at least 10% owed of any profit we make.

Can't see us cashing in on Haji this window unless we get 20m +

Same reason I've been confident of keeping all our best players this summer. Too much invested in them to cash out yet. We'll want a to cover cost, wages and to make a good profit to reinvest before we do

Nothing other than not being happy about not playing at the start of last season when our defense was very poor.
To be fair - that's a season ago. You'd hope he'd be a little more settled now. Plus we must still be a slightly more attractive place at the moment compared to Barnsley!

Read somewhere the percentage sell on disappears or reduces after this season.

There's clearly no evidence that Kitching has done anything, the rumours aren't really fair.

Generally I agree, but the MR quote being attributed to Kitching has come from an ITK we now know had a source (indirectly) in the camp. Therefore there is substance behind this one I think.

Was in this article...
Maybe I didn't see it, but I see that the bonus clause has a time-limit, but nothing on the sell-on clause?

This reads as though they get the incentive if we go up this year, but the sell-on clause remains with no time-limit mentioned.

Even if he is a strong character that isn't always a negative. Listen to Keane talk about the United dressing room of the 90s and the characters in it
