Safety should still take precedence over £

Probably toasting them with you!Wonder if astute was celebrating last night
Will this be the first Sunderland visit since the Jimmy Hill statue was put up? If so I hope the club think ahead to protect it as you know some grubby Mackem will try deface it somehow.

He was immense that dayDrew 1-1 first season back in League 1, Clarke-Harris scored
If they think they can push for promotion without some serious investment, and Im talking more than 40 million quid as they will need a lot more extra firepower in their squadThey seem to think they will be pushing for promotion next season, think they are in for a big shock.
Its either they’re getting promoted or getting relegated. No In between with their fans. Theyre pretty amusing in that wayThey seem to think they will be pushing for promotion next season, think they are in for a big shock.
Looking at the early betting, they're shorter odds than usThey seem to think they will be pushing for promotion next season, think they are in for a big shock.

Also they will get the biggest gates in the division .
I think reading will be in troubleIf you take away the faux rivalry between us, their support is impressive, considering their recent demise. That said, whilst in L1, they have always been threatening to go up/been in and around it, which ought to help maintain their hardcore (and that is probably the nub of it, they have a large hardcore support compared to most clubs). Next season, I think Blues will be in trouble, along with Wigan and Rotherham - haven't got a clue how Sunderland will get on - about 18th at an early guess, which I think they would take, as the first season is usually the trickiest.
