Yesterdays Atmosphere... (1 Viewer)

...Was the best I have witnessed at the Ricoh for a long time and I thought it really played a part in the win.

If ever there was a time when we need to get some big attendances and show some huge support, it is now!

I understand the "I dont want to give SISU my money" argument but I would rather have SISU in charge and us to be in the championship than anyone else in charge whilst we are in league 1.

We have a chance of survival at the moment and if we can create a really positive atmosphere again but on a bigger scale, I think we can do this. PUSB.

I think the atmosphere was tremendous. But it has been for most of the season. Certainly better than previous seasons. Is it the football? Is it the fact that we are the underdogs? Is it the SISU Out factor?

I like to think it's all of these. I'm pretty proud of the fact that we are at the foot of the table yet we are out playing and out singing a lot of our rivals. I'm praying that our efforts will start to get their rewards in terms of results, because, God knows, we deserve it.

I loved they way the crowd erupted when Nimley did so much as a dummy that paid off. Yesterdays atmosphere was especially good. When the third goal went in, I didn't know what to do with myself!! I needed to sit down as I was in a states of shock and disbelief, but I also wanted to carry on shouting and cheering!!

Nice work fellow fans!!

I'll tell you why, it's because we're down to the absolute hard core and we have a backs to the wall bunker mentality now so we show defiance to the world by singing. If, as I hope fervently , the good times do come and in a few years there's 28,000 at the Ricoh I'll be delighted but we'll be the 12/13,000 who were there when things were bleak.

Just a shame away fans are a million miles away, lol

It is and I'm sure the away fans would prefer to sit nearer.
Why can't they just be sat in the middle of the south stand behind the goal, they are closer and a better view for the away fans.

it was a good atmophere on saturday, just different to having to not hold onto a lead but control it.

I loved how just after going 3-0 up, we were singing twist and shout, but then they scored whilst we were still singing. There was a slight pause from us, but then realised well we're still 3-1 up, and kept the song going again drowning out their subdued cheers! Brilliant.

Good atmosphere yes. Anyone know how many leeds are bringing? That was a cracking atmosphere last year! if we beat ipswich, then we should get decent numbers, and its a night game so if they sell out... can't wait!
