Sell every player they can get some money for, give the money to Arvo and leave.

More reasonably move back to coventry on the free rent deal, bring in a proper sponcer, just fix the things they purposfully broke over the last 6 months then sell the club for whatever they can get.

Seriously there seems to be no way to get back anything like what they have invested (or at least say they have invested) There is no good option for the just varying levels of bad, they are throwing good money after bad and should cut their losses.

The new stadium will just lose them a fortune more.

they have to start building bridges with the 90% of support they have lost.The only way that is possible is to start to negotiate a 3 year deal to return to ricoh,that time scale gives everyone time to reflect and plan for future,nothing re new stadium being ready could happen in that time anyway .
That would be a start otherwise the fanbase and club will drift to oblivion

Get in contact with CCC on taking up the rent free for the rest of this season and 100k for the next two. Get CCFC back ASAP. Make the first game back free to show a bit of goodwill. Make an apology to the fans. Get rid of Timothy and Lobotomy.....and anyone else that has lied to the fans. Stop charging CCFC 2.5m in mismanagement fees. Stop the 1.2m interest charges. Give part of the money raised by bringing the club back to Pressley to strengthen the squad where needed and give the best push for promotion.

Would want to spend more than 5 mins thinking about this, but a starter for 10 would be.

If I were to advise them I would start by getting them to start a process of reconciliation with all other Parties.

The purpose of this would be to establish a process where all parties can find a Win -Win position. (I do not believe that SISU loosing all or any other party loosing all will help getting to an appropriate conclusion)

They would need to change some of the faces (Mr Fisher Labovitch etc.) And agree how the parties will work together over the next 24 months, and what the end goals are fro those 24 months.

I would encourage SISU to recognise that continual adversarial relationships, will in the case of CCFC and what is effectively a civic organisation (ACL) only serve to create lasting damage to themselves, but to see that image and perception can change.

There are always routes and potential solutions to even the most entrenched problems. However all parties have to accept that they need to see the world through the other parties eyes. I would encourage SISU to establish new faces within Otium with an objective of resolving SISU's situation whilst establishing the best financial outcome. (This will require a true valuation of investment less all the accrued internal charges for Management fees and Interest etc.) Otiums objective should be to prepare CCFC for sale at the end of that period. As part of this I would encourage them to negotiate with CCC / ACL to come to an agreement on how SISU could share in the uplift in value of the Arena and associated businesses by the presence of CCFC as its principle tenant. (The later on the basis they could not afford the full unfettered leasehold and its consequential damage charges for cancellation of existing contracts)

Take-it or leave-it offer for whatever they want - freehold/leasehold/whatever - in an 'open letter' format; so we fans can see it, and apply pressure to our elected representatives if possible or appropriate.

And whilst they're doing that, move the club back to where it should be - without prejudice - and cease this farce of a new stadium talk, as it's embarrassing

I would hope that I would have never got myself into their position in the first place.

Not what I would like it to happen, but this is business, and sharp practice can lead to big profits.

I would however make a final offer for the asset that I wished to buy. The figure would be just short of the amount of money I would be willing to spend to build my own asset.

I would consider making the bid public, along with any and all clauses proposed, to allow those with a vested interest in the deal going through to see clearly my position. So allowing them to see my true intent.

That's the key here, the JR, if that fails, then I really don't see a way forward for them, they won't build the new stadium, the Ricoh is always there end game, if that gets closed off, then they are done really. You can't recoup what they claim is £60m+ by living down in Northampton attracting 2,000 max fans every week and waiting for something good to happen, whilst payrolling the whole act. They would need to see that selling what they can and leaving is their only option in my opinion. The result of that JR is crucial either way to SISU's future, a win in that means they stay for a while sadly.

As we all know SISU are a hedge fund and they believe their only responsibility is to their investors. Currently they have most of their eggs in the JR basket. If they win the JR then watch out they'll be damages writs flying everywhere to maximise their financial return for their investors. The question is will ACL/CCC capitulate and give SISU the freehold to the Ricoh development to avoid the damages or continue to fight them by denying them the freehold (or a similar highly advantageous deal for SISU). I have no idea what SISU's plan will be if the JR fails, which of course will be appealed and a final settlement could still be several years away. Will SISU continue with the new stadium plans if the JR process is still running and they beleive they have a chance of winning? I'm 68 and would like this mess sorted and SISU gone before I die - but it looks about 50/50 at the moment!

I agree with you Oz and sadly it would be appealed, the difference this time however is ... with a proper hearing, if it fails now for a second time, but first time for a proper hearing, deep down SISU know they will not be successful in any future claims. Their eggs are literally, in my opinion, in this JR basket, not any future ones.

Assuming that I am SISU and driven my the same morality and ethics...

Carry on what I'm doing now.

We don't know what plan SISU are working to, or for that matter whether they have one. They run a very tight ship.

However, their silence of so many issues and their selective use of facts on other issues has already yielded some results.

The terms of the debate has over the months that I have been surfing this site has shifted.

There are more people who think that SISU should be "given" the Ricoh, and are willing to talk down the value of the complex and thus the price that SISU should pay.

There are more people who seem to think that the only solution is a deal that allows SISU to realise their investment and bugger off, despite our ignorance of what that investment really is due to the opaqueness of their accounting reporting, and what the aftermath of their departure will be to the finances of the club, the stadium or the city.
They don't even know whether SISU will depart if they get a return: they could well stay on to get more.

Worryingly, there are more people who are disenchanted with the whole affair and no longer care what SISU, ACL or CCC do.

A lot of firms make bad investments and then sell up. If I was in charge of sisu and cared about my investers, sell up is the only option. As I am not interested in their investers, put me in charge and elvis can spend £10m in this transfer window for the big push to the play offs. Leon here is a big pay day to stay and ACL get the ricoh ready for the return. Northampton can sue me for the lost rent, but I will think up a way to sue them in the high court (causing distress to thousands of people) should do.

Improbable odds of continual black wins for at least 100000 spins of the wheel should see us back in profit

Well if it was me I'd have two choices option one: go back to the Higgs and ask if they were still willing to sell their share. I'd offer them the money owed from last time and for anything this time. I'd ask the council what it would take to get them to sanction the sale and do that. I'd then try and convince the independent director on the board to side with me and to release all the matchday revenues for our Club. Then in time when the wounds were healed and trust a bit better I'd offer to buy the council share too.

Option two: Bet on the Judicial Review going my way but properly plan for the New Stadium just in case.

Either way I'd keep the fans up to speed on what was going on.

20 spins in a row starting with £50 is £52 million, 21 spins £105 million, it adds up quicker than you expect.

The odds of that however is 0.0001% for 20 in a row and 0.000048% for 21 assuming 50% chance of winning on each spin (which it isn't, it's something between 47% and 48.6% depending on weather there is one or two green 0/00 spaces on the roulette wheel, having never played roulette in this country im not sure which it is).

not me being picky about an obvious joke, just me sating my intellectual curiosity at how many wins it would actually take and since I took the minute to work it out I might as well share it in case others are similarly curious.

let's face it,
they have systematically used & abused true CCFC fans for far too long,
they have employed a series of devious / dubious, megalomaniac characters (imho), since their purchase,
they have lost, for, who knows how long,
perhaps a significantly damaging number of years, the faith & trust of CCFC followers,
they have pursued a succession of miss-truths (imho), from day one,
their PR has continued to be utterly abysmal,
i, & thousands, now feel totally alienated from the club we love,
we don't know who the owners are,
we know that the 'controller' is a devout christian, mmmm, pinch of salt,
we are told her family & investors come first,
(which would be prior to some 50,000 plus CCFC fans),
so exactly where, does mr, mrs, ms, CCFC fan figure in this equation ?
