Oh no!!! You've dropped the W bomb, CC4L is going to spontaneously combust. If you was MR and it's Monday morning (29th) you had one or two targets and contingency plans in place would you accept a fair bid off the back of Willis's solid performances to push the button on one or two strikers to hopefully see us over the line to bolster the attack.
You've still 3 days business to get a deal done so plenty of time as you've contingency plans in place for extra players and targets should we draw a top club in the cup for a pay day.
Or would you stick and do no more business and be happy with a solid defensive unit and hope your forwards carry on as they were say 2 games ago, with uncertainty still as to if Biamou would score 8 goals this season
Oh and you drew Wigan away in the fa cup later that day in a disappointing cup tie. So no bumper cash boost.

For what it's worth we do have 4 decent centre backs. Three very good ones in Davies, Willis and McDonald and a decent looking one in Hyam.
I wonder how far away Thompson is from making the step up.
Don't want to sell any of them, but Willis would surely attract the most interest.
Which is why I didn't mention Stokes in my list. If Haynes goes that pretty much rules Stokes out as an option for centre back. Leahy has gone and Camwell, well who knows, but he's not even in the picture at the moment.I’d sign a striker - a number 9 - and move one of the centre halves of we have to. McDonald is too slow for league 1 so preferably him. Haynes could be on his way.
Who's been playing LB for U23's? Haynes recently I take it .Which is why I didn't mention Stokes in my list. If Haynes goes that pretty much rules Stokes out as an option for centre back. Leahy has gone and Camwell, well who knows, but he's not even in the picture at the moment.

The young lad needs to be involved or we waste him IMO.
He made a good debut last season, bit harsh farming him out to Solihul.
Squad is good as it stands at the moment. Yes I would agree with one signing another No9 in case of injuries etc.
I don't see where Vincente now fits into the team? id move him on just to be fair on him. we have tried and tested formula now , where Shipley has done well, and bought in two wingers in Barratt and JMD, and also Bayliss seems he can do a job on the Right hand side when hes not in the Centre. Now Dion K E seems to be a an option further up the pitch on the right.
Our squad is too big as it stands.
Need to move on Reid/Devon K E/ Vincenti / Beavon.in next few days and buy a striker.
So if no other option of saucing cash is available to you to get a No9 in, plus stuck with Reid would you accept the hypothetical Willis bid to press ahead or go as you are with the squad
If I were him with his ability I wouldn't see it as progression.Camwell was at the game yesterday, was larking around with some mates applauding the players getting on the bus for around 10 minutes.
Not sure why it's harsh sending him out on loan to a club a league below?
Needs experience or he goes down the same path all the kids do in the 1st with no experience
The cash should be there! Is there if he wants to do business.
If Biamou hadn't scored 2 in 2 and put in good performances last 2 games I would have been more concerned.
We wont sell anyone. it would have to be silly money. It would have to be a struggling Championship Club to come in for 500k for Willis. no struggling league 1 club can afford any of our players tbh.
If I were him with his ability I wouldn't see it as progression.
He has gone on record saying he gets it Steve .Problem is I doubt the cash is there, fa cup money currently possibly settles the books. So that's why I came up with the hypothetical keep or sell scenario and drawing Wigan in the cup.
I'm more worried we don't have the depth up top like we're blessed with at the back.
Should a bid come it would have to be a very very good offer which MR has basically said it would need to be to part with any player.
It's hard I'd imagine juggling all your balls so to speak but it's no good having a fancy dress just in case if there is no party invite to show it off at.
He has gone on record saying he gets it Steve .
Really looks like giving Beavon a deal was costly, focus on trying to move on what we don't need.

Why is there this obsession about selling Willis for a striker? No one is even interested in him. Bradford were in the summer and weren’t willing to match our evaluation. Considering his performances in the best defence in the division, his value has gone up, not down.
Every transfer is the risk, so I think selling your best defender mid season for a striker - when we’ve got McNulty - is asking for trouble.
Last point, Craig Davies was probably the best option in this transfer window, and we had the resources to get him. He just didn’t want to come down to us.
Willis versus imaginary striker? Willis wins hands down.
I think if we could sell and bring 2 or 3 players to improve the first team as a whole then you have to.
We have 5 solid centre backs if you throw Stokes in their too. If we were to sell someone it has to be one of the centre backs, just because we have so much cover.
I want another big lump of a striker in, but we have no cover for McNulty's goals oi he gets injured.

That's one of my points, were light up top and a injury away from promotion derailing where's at the back we've a embarrassment of riches.
A different topic is who your ideally release from the club to boost the fund for a loan or free transfer.
Another totally different topic is who you'd least like to sell from the back line if anyone to wheel and deal
Ideally we'd sell no one and a injection of 600/700k+ would appear in the next 48 hours to boost the attacking 3rd or better still a large lump sum from a James Maddison sale
That's the ideal situation, if we get 2-3mill with 500k for transfers, I'd be chuffed to bits.
If you was
Yes he should. Should definitely do it before we lose the next two matches and everyone wants him sacked again.First thing Robins should do tomorrow .........
Ask for a pay rise.
