Oh, this is NOT what I want to hear.

Doesn't sound very agitated. Just one of those days approach.

Not what the fans who went are saying. :(

Slade interview.
Not got to the levels of our last 2 games.
Very close game we looked the only side that were going to score.

Best move of game was ours.
Should have kept goal out.
We never got any 50 50 all game.
Looked at footage of he and Tudgay was not offside for our goal.
Plenty of games to play and we need to lift it up.
New player next week.
Double determined now.
TBF talks very well

Slade:

Don't think we got to same levels as we have in last two game

Got to be best version of themselves

Messy game. Not a lot in it

We looked more likely to get a goal

Reduced them to very little

Allowed them to score

Should have dealt better

Great strike

If don't keep clean sheet you don't win

Don't think it was anxiety

Deviate from plans once they score

Best piece of football (one touch) ended with Thomas shooting and should have done better

Up to their goal we looked most likely to get a goal

Key moment in game Tudgay goal is not offside

Lots of 50/50 decision not much our way

Decisions are massive and affect game

Want share of decisions

Plenty of football to be played

Makes Saturday doubly important

Got to find more

Will work hard to find right chemistry

Working hard behind scenes for another signing

This had made me more determined to do something

League position doesn't lie

No excuses

Plenty of points to play for and still have wonderful opportunity

Got to be big, bold and embrace (the challenge)

There are talkers and do'ers in this world, lets see if he can turn all his patter into anything...... I hear he is a dab hand at plastering walls though.

Why all the pessimism on here?
a) We're projected to make £1m profit - that's fantastic business acumen in these troubling times....
b) We can't drop any lower for months...............'until we're relegated at the end of the season' I hear the moaners argue
c) There's still plenty of time left in the transfer window (not just for signings, but for up to 4, yes 4 loan players from 'big' teams like Burton Albion....)
d) We're only two games away from Wembley - yes the 'National Stadium'!! The last time I saw us there was in 1987, so that's a hell of an achievement if we can get there after 30 years!!
e) In the words of Eric Idle:

Accusing others of being pessimistic when you fail to point out in c) that there's also time to sell players meaning that a) potential increases to that most important £1M profit.

:)

I would like someone who has some gravitas , someone who has good connections within the game, Gary Johnson would be my pick, I would leave Russel to sort out the painting and decorating

Gary Johnson - currently third from bottom of League Two and an all round tosser (according to some within the game). No thanks.

He sounded very different today to me, didn't sound as confident/passionate about turning it around. Blatantly commented that even if the players feel they are giving 100 percent of their ability they need to try and give 200 percent and the next game is doubly important (more pressure in my opinion when that basically says 100 percent of the players abilities is not good enough. Unless we are able to sign 4-5 decent players I think we are going to find it very hard to stay up.
I'm not saying it is Slades fault as he has only been here a few weeks and most managers need a couple of years to build and gel a winning team, but he sounds a bit resigned to our fate this season after today I think.
I just really hope we make a few a signings and miracles happen because a couple more losses while other teams around us are winning will be certain relegation :(

If you don't score you don't win conceding has nothing to do with it you can only draw if you don't score.

The problem is, they are not morons. They simply don't care. TF said as much.
Anyway, a bit more garlic needed I think

In the politest way possible mate...Fuck. Right. Off.

It was his and Venus's recruitment in the last two windows that have helped to take us to this brilliant position we find ourselves in.

I like you cc4life...but staunchly disagree on that one.

We've been heading towards this position for years to be fair. You could equally argue the start of last season was the anomaly and Mowbray worked wonders to get Arma, Murphy and Kent in, plus a bit of luck with Madders coming through.

But like everyone who comes here their luck runs out and they end up thrown to the wolves never recovering.
Until we get rid of these scumbahs nothing will change.

They are at fault and the shame is that it has gone so far now that absolutely no one in the world would be mad enough to meet any possible valuation for a club that is now worthless with no assets and a valuation which will only consist of recouping what SISU etc have lost (or a high percentage of). I think, like has been previously said, that they will continue to try and exist at minimum loss with total disregard to the supporters interests as a club we love and care for, league 2 or conference will not matter to the owners as long as they can hold on to us for as long as possible being close to break even.
From what we have seen in the past they are probably holding out to spend more millions on a fruitless court case in the hope they will get lucky. Sad for me to say but it is looking more and more likely each week :(

Exactly it's no surprise, we will drop and keep on dropping

Got taken out the ground after only seeing 15 minutes of the game waiting for a ct scan

You missed a cracking goal ;)

Also missed an otherwise shit game.

Hoping you have a speedy recovery!

As for their defender, would have thought he'd have been seen a bit quicker since he required a neck brace?

I agree but would say got lucky rather than worked wonders.
Tied to replicate that success with Page, Ageyei,Wright and Sterry and it just didn't work.
