Never said it would work... I cannot solve the goals issue but with some forward runs with intent, you never no your luck!

Yes putting teams on the back foot by getting beyond the back line by positive runs should cause some panic in their back line.

This is a bit tricky to pick a side - taking into account injuries and new signings I think I might be tempted to play 3-5-2 and I hate the formation.
Hoping we can nick a 1-0.

Team
Burge GK
Rose RWB
Haynes LWB
Rawson CB
Clarke CB
Willis CB
Stevenson DCM
Reilly DCM
Reid ACM
Tudguy ST
Beavon ST

Subs: RCC, Harries, Stokes, Lameiras, G.Thomas, Jones, Turnbull

Willis won't play right back. Why would Slade have signed Foley (assuming he's not injured).
I do think Willis should be rested mind you, I don't share the commonly inflated opinion about how good he is TBH.

Foley is injured for tomorrow, not sure how serious but I'd expect Willis to play there after the new signing. However slade does seem to like dke

Wouldn't have Rose as a RWB?

Burge
Reily (RB)
Clarke (CB)
Rowson (CB)
Haynes (LB)
Stephenson (DMC)
Rose (ACM)
Jones (RM)
Reid (LM)
Beavon (ST)
Thomas (ST)

We really do need a creative central midfielder and a proper striker!
It's defence over load at the moment

Please remember that Jodi Jones is still only 19, he is a flair player but far from the finished article...whereas Lameiras is a finished article in my opinion

We really have to win this one.
Slades influence should be kicking in now and the team should know how he wants them to play.

3-0 SKY BLUES!

Out of interest how did you determine lameries is a finished article compared to JJ?
Other than age there senior appearances are near identical?
Just curious... no big argument.

City to be winning 2-1 in the 95th minute and Fleetwood nick the equaliser with seconds to go! (again!)

So, how long can we go without a win in the league before Slade starts getting questioned?

Surely we've got to win today. 3-1 goal for the new lad at the back, Beavon and someone else.

I'd play

Burge
Willis
Rawson
Haynes
Thomas
Rose
Stevenson
Reid
Tudgay
Beavon

And we'd prob still lose

Too early for that... his only just been here a month and putting all the previous wrongs right.
Performances have been much improved, baring last week where if we'd of took some of our few chances we'd of taken that in a big game.
Don't forget we were unlucky at Peterborough and the "whistlegate" goal v Bolton.
He's tightened us up at the back, which has seen us stop shipping in goals... brought the hard working Beavon in and we need to remember his career has not been all about goals.... that search is still on.
That's the hard bit, were do you get a 10/12 goal striker from in January for a relegation battle
