Or shall I have one last go?

Quite often a big company, like BT last week, have financial difficulties, like their share price collapse, caused by a hit taken by a subsidiary company, in that case abroad. Both that company and BT took the hit, bigger forBT because of damage to confidence in them. So, with a 50k fine both CCFC and it's owner take the hit in just the same way. One of Sisu's companies loses money, Sisu lose money and that affects their reputation, particularly when they are all about investing other people's money.

It doesn't effect the £36 million liability does it? It just means that £50k comes out of the playing budget of the club and not the investment portfolio.

but their investors will be seeing their name in the media everytime incidents like yesterday happen. That's bad publicity for sisu. They know there could be a potential investor watching those scenes thinking hold on a minute I'm not sure about this.
They won't like the bad publicity it's bringing.

It won't make a difference at all. The type of investors that invest with sisu are hardly bothered about morality. The truth is most investors probably don't even know they are with sisu.

I am keen to see what Fishers reaction is to yesterdays events. I expect it will be either silence or a radio interview saying "This is the type of people we are dealing with"

and that's the thing, sisu/Fisher, could stop this tomorrow. He said in his radio interview he wanted to build bridges. Since then he's done the square root of fuck all to achieve that.
They could take up the trusts invitation to a chat, admit they want out but are struggling to find a way and ask the support to work with them to help find a viable escape route or they could say we're here for the long haul and present viable short, medium and long term plans for the club.
Everything wouldn't be all rosy in the garden immediately but at least it would be a start.

The only way to embarrass Sisu is to drag Joy Seppala and her husband though the mud.

Charlton fans took their protests to the owners home town and hunted him down!

Time to take the protests to London at their home and their offices big style. A proper organised, peaceful mass protest.

It's not about morality it's about their ability in the field they operate in. Is CCFC a successful investment for them? Does it show SISU to be competent in the investment market? I think even you'll struggle to say yes to that. Shouldn't we then be highlighting their failure as a negative to invest with them?

Yes its the absolute piss poor communication that I can't grasp, I can understand incompetence, I can get my head around stupidity but I can't fathom the ignorance and pigheadedness that they consistently show to their customers.
Contempt 24/7 is my biggest gripe with them.

Just to clear this up.....SISU are the parent company of CCFC. So if it losses money then they don't make money. All of what the fans are doing will eat away at any potential profits. Though CCFC will have to break even so that means selling players to cover the costs of fines or lowering attendances.

So the stupid protest are just counter productive.

So they won't sell players if they don't get any fines?
Worrying thing is how many people seem to think that SISU will be paying fines and SISU will be damaged by it.
So if CCFC made 5m profit it would stay with CCFC?

You absolute wankers - those involved - not proper fans sorry lost us points at other matches and now this - this only damages the team
Yes we should all stand by and let SISU do what they want unhindered. After all it has gone well so far.

After the last time the game had to be stopped because of protests apparently it was enough that CRFC didn't want to ground share with us anymore. Maybe after yesterday's events Northampton won't want to ground share with us again.

Of course they will sell players whom play for CCFC not any company in the Caymen Islands! CCFC is a business. They will run it into the ground if they dont make money.......so you decide get sisu out and CCFC either drop out the football league and die or Support the team but make your frustrations be known but not to the detriment of CCFC.

you know fuck all and should be more concerned about your supporters throwing bottles at families you prick.
Just like the behaviour of a few of your idiots yesterday, the behaviour of a few of our idiots in no way whatsoever represents the majority of our club.

I wasn't at the pub/club where the incident with the glass/bottle took place. Were you? Was it just a group from our club being violent/aggressive? In the version I heard was there aggravation from both sides. Either way I find it completely deplorable and have no desire to be associated with anybody involved. I'm sure all normal, sound minded NTFC fans would agree.

If the pitch invasion appears non violent like vs sheffield then it would look a lot better. Perhaps people should just sit or lie down on the pitch? Peaceful disobedience wont piss off the opposition as much. As the Northampton fan posted, yesterdays protests were bordering on the edge or reasonable. Some pissed up idiots jump on it and miss the point.

So if someone threw a flare and it ended up landing on a child and they received third degree burns it's ok is it? Or would you only condemn a consequence and not an action?
All if buts and maybe's i'm afraid. If I punch the air in delight in celebration of Cov scoring (unlikely I know) and I accidentally misdirected my fist into someone's face inflicting damage requiring dental repair should I straightjacket myself everttime I attend a game?

I wish we had found another way of protesting but I understand the fans anger and frustration and if you don't feel it yourself then I would be very surprised.
They are not hooligans, they are protesters, they are not thugs, they are our fans who are bereft at the way things have turned out and are trying to do something about it.
If you think they are wrong fine but I can't help thinking that they care and are hurting and are articulating much better than the silent majority who hope things turn for the better. And I include myself in that.
But what happened yesterday was just disorder. How can running to confront the ref with violence have anything to do with a protest against the owners?
How can attempting a mass pitch invasion only when the game is lost and a potential abandonment is on the cards be construed as a protest against SISU?
The morons capitalised on the instability created by well meaning and principled protesters. They were allowed to take over yesterday and use the situation for their own short term ends. It massively damages the credibility of what most of you are trying to achieve and the sooner the majority of you distance yourselves from it the better.

1, They want to make money not lose it.

2, As an investor myself how could my money end up with SISU without me knowing?

Just make sure that you don't have a flare in your hand when you hit someone in the face. You should be OK then.

Looks like pretty excellent support to me. Think our fans passionately love the club and I'm not surprised people are pushing the boundaries further and further

Pretty clear evidence of how the fans feel, thanks for posting that.

Les Reid's tweets lead me to believe we will soon see an article from him blaming the Sky Blue Trust for this, he just does not understand.

But you said that they would sell players if they got a fine. So we agree that they will sell players whatever then?
What other assets do CCFC they have? No fans equals no money which means sell assets to stay afloat right? So not only are the fans staying away they are also costing the CLUB not SISU money by protesting. So therefore you are not a CCFC fan you are a hater. You hate SISU more than you love your club.

You said yourself that the disorder started at 0-0 so I wont give any credence to your statement that a few individuals were trying to get the game abandoned, stupidity yes, but not a thought out endgame of the game being abandoned.
As I have already stated I believe coordinated protest is the best way forward but no I wont brand the fans as morons, these are fans who have been driven to take action by events that you have little understanding of( not a criticism of you by the way)
Who knows? time may suggest that it was these guys that actually fought to save the club, not the silent majority who turned their backs on the brave fans who took risks that others were not prepared to take.

Do you really think that it would need highlighting. I'm sure the lack of investment return shows it's not a success and all are aware of that who have invested.

I would do, but I fear the big guy in the bobble hat carrying the smoke bomb would just spend the money on two or three boxes of Krispy Kreme donuts.

I'm talking about future potential investors in SISU. Not the current investors in the portfolio that includes CCFC. Did you deliberately miss that point?

Are you being serious or just trying to stick up for what you said previously?

You agree that they will sell players whatever. But you say that it will be our fault if they sell players if we don't turn up and all because we hate SISU more than we love CCFC.

If you want to have a go at me for no reason try not to contradict yourself.

The thing that keeps being mentioned as the reason for the protests is raising awareness. Is there any football fan that is looking at us and thinking what a fantastically well run club we are?

People are already aware. Football supporters are aware, the authorities are aware, its even been discussed in parliament, there's been plenty of media coverage in the last couple of years. Who else are we trying to make aware?

And when they are aware how will that help us? We all know the mess Blackpool is in for example but other than sympathising with them we aren't doing anything about it, what are we expecting people to do to help us?

I bumped into someone in a service station last night on my way home from Edinburgh. I had a CCFC top on. He asked me what all the demonstrations were about. I didn't know about them at the time but said quickly about what has happened at our club. Most people do not presently have a clue.
