The simplest solution to me would be those SISU out t-shirts at £5-6 each, have every fan wear them and at the start of the game, take off jackets etc and have the whole ground a sea of blue SISU out along with chanting.
Then on with supporting the game.

Loudest message we could give of unity.

What if it's cold? I don't want to catch a chill.

Agree with everything except this. The corruption starts with the obscene levels of money generated by the Premier League. I personally long for the day when the unsustainable bubble bursts.

Yep. With a large chunk of that funded by Sky and overseas TV rights. Best protest would also be aginst these hounds, spray paint on the camera lens 10 minutes in. Nah, ignore me, thats criminal damange. Just brassed off with the whole thing - we're going down and this piss pot trophy is all we have to get excited about.

Spot on idea, and even better at Wembley if we can just win the sf

Can we all lump on a Wycombe win - then buy SISU out with the winnings. If we get through, we're a few quid down but have our day at Wembley (win/win). Of course if we go out on pens, it'll be a lose/lose. Don't want to imagine the reaction if we go out on pens :jawdrop::jawdrop:

Good idea. Between us we might win up to a thousand pounds and I can't see SISU turning that down.

What we should do is pack the ground and make it intimidating but for Wycombe. Thats not saying violence, but not a nice place for their players to be in. Support our players for every challenge, every ball and encourage for every mistake or misplaced place.

SISU won't be there, they won't give a shit.

I agree with you for once Nick.

I think there should be some form of protest. Maybe the first few minutes or singing with banners.

Following that, back the players and enjoy the evening. We deserve it.

I would love to see this happen, but in reality putting the game on sky is like a red rag to a bull, our fans will just see it as an opportunity to make their point to Sisu with the nation watching. I feel like we're more likely to see a repeat of yesterday.
Hardly expect the nation to be watching. If I were a neutral, I doubt if I'd switch on to watch the bottom of Division 3 team versus a Division four team. Can't see Sky's viewing figures soaring for this one!

I've got nothing against protests, I may not agree that they will work but I can see the difference between protests that may or may not damage CCFC (not SISU).

We need to make opposition players uncomfortable, direct the venom at them and use it to try and help our players.

It isn't going to make Joy uncomfortable is it either way.

The problem is you will then get opposition fans moaning about the intimidation. Just like the Sheffield United fans and the heightened noise of the whistles when they were on the attack.

I dont mean whistles. Even if its booing them every time they get the ball and just making it a hostile environment for them to play.

That might exceed the decibel limiter fitted to the Ricoh though :bored:

Just sit down with your tartan blanket and your cup of tea in silence ;) :D

Very true, especially if it's on the same night as the Champion's League. However there will be more coverage than usual and some of the protesters may see that at as a chance to make a statement.

It is the subsequent news reports that have impact.

"FA Cup heroes Wycombe face struggling underdogs Coventry City"

That's almost as bad as when I used to go watch Bournemouth in L2 as they were my local team and couldn't travel to Cov on my own, and they could never do any better than L1, poor little Bournemouth.

Jesus, how incredibly naive and arrogant was that thought at the time :joyful:

I watch L1 and (sometimes L2) games because their relevance and interest to me as a supporter of a 3rd (soon to be 4th) division team. I would be surprised if there are many viewers outside of this constituency. Would I ordinarily watch a CT Cup? No.

The number watching, other than City and Wycombe fans, would be surely measured in hundreds, if that. As is, the other cups have become increasingly meaningless due to Prem and Champ teams putting out their second string. The CT cup is beyond meaningless, it's an embarrassment.

And as the CT Cup is universally ignored by the media, reports of any protest will be limited to the CET and a mention on Midlands Today.

I remember when we beat PNE, having to go about 5 pages from the back page to find a small square on our remarkable come back.

If Man U won in that manner, the press would be besides themselves.

Time to get behind our team who are lacking in confidence. Sisu don't give a shit about the protests the Sheffield game proved that great protest that day apart from the fucking whistles but Sisu and Fisher don't care. This is a time for us all to get behind the player's and get us to a great day out at Wembley after the season we have had I think we are to far behind to stay up so let's sell it out and get behind the lads on the field.

Yep we need the support through the semi final - then you tossers can come on the pitch at Wembley run out of breath while realising how far it is from the stands and not interrupt the game !

If the various factions could pull together this would be a perfect opportunity for a dignified protest.

Rally by Jimmy Hill prior to the game, invite press, BBC, Sky e.t.c explain the need for the owners to sell up due to lack of investment and potential lack of a home next year.

Then go in and support the team for 90 minutes regardless of how we're playing. Show that the support is still here if and when new owners arrive.

Smuggle in anti sisu, anti fa, anti football league banners. So they're seen throughout the game.

Football in this country is rotten especially outside the premier league. Highlight the failure of the authority's to deal with the issues in today's game.

Should be the biggest attendance of the season and with cheap tickets plenty of kids there. Let's use the opportunity to protest but in a dignified manner. Completely understand the anger and won't condemn anyone whose been on the pitch recently but let's try a positive protest.

Pusb
But who are there factions?
Seriously what group took the flares in yesterday. Who were the pitch invaders these protests seem to have been individual actions pitch invation probably spur of the moment caught up in the atmosphere and testosterone that was flying around.

Then when we lose you can blame the fans again;)
