Well for all the Coventry folk that go (football fans or not), that have more affiliation with a club that has been in the City for over 130 years than a club who have just rocked up stopped going, it would bring their average attendance down from about 12k to about 4 or 5k. If you lost that many fans overnight would you not wonder Why? Ask questions as to what's happened? And if a resounding answer comes back from the people of Coventry, "whilst you play hard ball with our team, you don't get our support"! I'm sure they'll soon budge.

If they are so bothered the trust should ask for volunteers to roadblock every wasps game and peacefully protest outside every match

People will spend their hard earned cash were they want if as you say there are up to 7000 watching Wasps that would come and watch City dream on we will soon be back down to less than 7000 diehards let alone people who want to be entertained . As for hard ball I presume you mean playing at the Ricoh next season if we put a proper offer in i'm sure it would be considered

You've taken me COMPLETELY out of context there. Not once did I say that 7000 people going to watch wasps that would normally watch city. I said that there are probably about 7000 city folk (people from Coventry) who go and should have more affiliation with a 130 year old part of city history than some out of towers.
Wasps when in London (there home town) had average gates of 6000. Now in Coventry the average 12. Have an extra 6k Londoners started following them now they've moved?? No, they've gained them fans from Coventry. People who would of otherwise went to CCFC or CRFC or Blaze or Bees.
And for your information, the reason wasps won't talk about the stadium is sweet fa to do with a "shit" offer, it's because they're taking ccc to court.

When a new kid comes on the block you up your game don't bleat about they should not be there if we bought the ground they would not have been here the fans they have gained might just be they are entertaining them. Fans who watch football speedway or whatever other sport don't suddenly watch rugby .Any offer they make does not need talks to take place we want, not them. We know how much it is worth put in the right offer and they will talk They are business men after all, you seem to be like SISU wait till we have nowhere to play and them blame every one else. Me boycotting Wasps would make no difference at all as I have never been to see them and have no interest in going. Having no interest in going in the first place is hardly a boycott, it is just a choice.
Rugby has always been popular across Warwickshire just look at the amount of clubs. Wasps have marketed themselves well, most local clubs sells Wasps tickets and get a percentage back. They also give away free tickets because they know people will still spend money on beer, pies and merchandise. Also they hope the customer likes the product and return as a paying customer. 99 per cent of the people I know who go to Wasps are rugby fans and not Coventry City fans.

The problem with the club is SISU they are to intertwined to the people that matter. Regardless of the 10 years of decline on the pitch the issue of the elephant sat in the room is caused by the owners.

The clubs operating company is named in the court action that wants £30 million given to the council. So potentially yes.

According to Grendull the problem of not signing a rental agreement is with SISU. That being so, is the reason because it's a continuation of the failed distressing of ACL owners and screw CCFC and it's fans regardless of the costs both financially and emotionally policy question an unreasonable one to ask? I know that not everybody that goes to wasps are CCFC fans. But I know a large percentage of them are local to Coventry. Unless moving to the Ricoh found them an extra 6k of Londoners wanting to follow them?
I know people who haven't been to a Cov Rugby match in their lives but attend wasps regularly, I know CCFC fans boycotting sisu and attend wasps as a sort of protest (there are plenty on here just look), I know people who have never been to a live sporting fixture in the lives but attend wasps.
All these people are giving wasps a platform. All these people are locals who, CCFC fans or not, should have more loyalty to the 2 130year + teams this City ALREADY has over a team that's been here a couple of years and will no questions ask, fuck off at the drop of a hat at a better opportunity. Whilst they have the support of the people of the City they can't see their wrongdoing in not renewing a deal for the club the stadium was built for.

Like I said forget about the on field decline, Wembley showed fan disengagement can be reversed with a few wins or maybe just owners who understand good PR.
The people we need for a ground next season by all accounts do not see that the club and SISU are very far apart. This was mainly "whipped" up by the clubs owners taking the clubs landlords to court.

It's also funny that you get a lot of the same posters who spin this shit will then come out with shit like Tim Fisher is a stooge and SISU are running the show or if we get promoted SISU will have gained us our best finish in decades etc. Want it all ways some people. It seems that SISU are the club when suits.
