Unfortunately you are seen as supporting sisu if you suggest there are any other factors other than sisu behind our problems. I am with you though, fail to see why there is such a love-fest for acl.
Wouldn't say ACL are innocent in all this. It could be argued that those who blindly believe everything acl have said due to their hatred of sisu have done little to help either.
There is a middle ground.
Our club is a pawn caught up in this game between sisu and acl. All we can hope is...
You are right - money, greed, cheating etc. has been gradually killing the game. The problems we have are just one of the many consequences.
City till I die (or they do).
That is the problem on reflection isn't it. I love coventry - my work colleagues in brum think I am mad - and if they don't play in coventry then will not be the same. Thanks for helping me answer my own question.
Back to being depressed and hoping something is sorted out soon.
Lol, no.
Just trying to desperately to find some positive spin behind this which is hopefully a secret master plan which has had us all fooled and will see us winning the champions league in 2020 :)
Happy birthday.
This might be a silly thought, my head is a bit frazzled with holding companies, non trading entities etc, but...
It has been argued that the rent and lack of revenue was hindering our club. Whilst pay high levels of rent but without matchday revenue streams we were always being held back...
Having read a number of posts on here there are a couple of points which I don't understand.
- the assumption that any new owners will be better, invest more etc.
Most owners aren't in it for the love of the club. Fans love the club. To owners it is just an investment / business and they...
Sorry the reference to tinpot was sarcastic as I don't agree that it is not important. I have thought from the first that important with real chance of winning it. I think there were some who didn't see this though.
OK so it was the area final in a tinpot cup and sadly we didn't quite make the proper final at wembley but at least it was a final.
I know a lot of people discounted the JPT as a micky mouse cup but think it has been very beneficial for the club.
It has taught us that we can win games and...
Think is probably the latter. There seems to be a nucleus of fans that want to whine about any signing, decide a player is not good enough for us before he has even played etc. Looking back over the time mcgoldrick was brought in there was the same thing, not quick enough, doesn't score enough...
Trouble is a lot of the negative comments couldn't really be seen as a genuine reflection of a player or their abilities.
There is nothing wrong with discussing the strengths and weaknesses of a player and considering how this might impact on our team. Considering areas of improvement etc...
Christie has had a few off games now and generally seems to have lost form and confidence. With two decent RBs fighting for one place it would seem an ideal opportunity to rest christie. All about opinions but I have always slightly favoured clarke.
Is a long season and we should make use of...
Whilst I agree that the atmosphere would benefit from some more obvious block allocations so that people can choose those appropriate to them I can't agree with your sentiments.
As a woman who was a season ticket holder in the west terrace and is now bored to death by the lack of atmosphere...
