Why wouldn't Robins come to DRFC? We may not have a big budget, but we do have passion and a chairman who cares. Have you considered that he may jump ship because of your 60 million debt. Some of your fans think you will be back in the prem soon well realistically that is not going to happen for a long time. There is no guarantee that you will even be in existence by the end of the season if ACL do issue that winding up order. Personally I dont care if he does or doesn't come. I have no time for him even though he is doing a good job at your library right now but he is an ex dingle and id sooner have Fred Bloggs off the corner of the street than a dingle at my club. As for Saunders he has followed with us what he did with Wrexham, took the team down rebuilt and then when in second place jump ship. He will do the same with WWFC if he isnt sacked first.

You don't care that much that you posted on here!!
Nothing has changed from a finance/stadium perspective since MR took the job, he knew then and he knows now so why do you think he would jump ship? If it bothered him so much he would not have taken the job, yes some of our fans are deluded much the same as yours, man utd s and fleetwoods! It's football.

Can I ask where your fans have got the £60 million debt from? It's not just incorrect but widespread.

To be fair probably got it from our own idiots who band around that figure, skybluekid I'm looking at you!

All our actual debts are owed to SISU investors. It's absolutely no different to the likes of Leicester whose losses are also propped up by the Thais. Every loss making club in the land is essentially in the same situation.

I lived up the M180 from you for nearly 20 years. I know about Donny. Cov isn't a brilliant place but is a fair bit better than Donny.

You say we are 60m in debt. We are not. Our investors have put that much in. They want their money back, not fold the club to never see it again. To get it back they need to be successful in some way. That is why we have a good manager and you don't have one :D

No offence but you'e a tinpot club and that is a undeniable fact, we suggest you wind your neck in and get hit with reality and not the grand delusional world you seem to be living in. Ever seen the premiership? spent 36 years in the highest division, won an F.A cup? I say no more! :jerkit:

Edit: Aimed at DRFC2

When someone lends someone money, the receiving person/company is in debt to the lender. That's the definition of debt.

CCFC haven't been in the top flight for over a decade. A large proportion of your fans haven't been alive since you were relegated from the Premiership. Who is living in a delusional world?
I presume your using the term "tinpot" as in "inferior", not as in the stadium you might be playing in 6 months time?

Once last point, who is joint top of the division you're in?

Have a great day everyone.

And how much money have your owners put in? Just because its not reported doesn't mean they don't want it back.

We'll finish above you anyway, with or without Saunders, now he's gone, I think Donny will dip.

Donny are inferior, what was the score when we played you? :thinking about:

Although I have never seen CCFC play in the prem, I may see us play in Wembley, and we have a better chance of getting in the Orem than you.

Bit rich moaning about our stadium and fans? Donny have a smaller ground, and, smaller attendances? 6k!? Pfffttt.

You're joint 1st, but that's in Jan, league is won in May pal.

Saunders weren't that good of a manager and a poor appointment by the Wolves board...

All of this doesn't hide the fact that Doncaster is an absolute dive. I'd rather pay a substantial amount of rent for the Ricoh than play at your two bob ground that is falling apart and I don't particularly like the Ricoh.
Now disappear back to your horrible little backwater town

Who has lent us money? Our investors have invested money. They own our club so they owe the money to themselves. Are you saying they should pay themselves back?

CCFC haven't been in the top flight for over a decade. A large proportion of your fans haven't been alive since you were relegated from the Premiership.

So a large proportion of our fans have been dead since we got relegated? Or do you mean most of us were born after we got relegated.......so most of us aren't even teenagers yet?

Once last point, who is joint top of the division you're in?

At the moment not us.....but you have seen how good we are now as when we recently played. We are getting better all the time. We are beating the teams at the top.....including away from home. We are one step away from Wembley. How are you doing?

Have a great day everyone.

Enjoy banter from supporters of other clubs, but you seem to be either very thick or a useless WUM.

Hello again! Right, I'm off the ale tonight, so I'll try and be a bit clearer and hopefully make a bit more sense.

I'm presuming a large proportion of your fans aren't undead (although a few probably have died since you were in the prem, it was that long ago!) - obviously I meant a large proportion of your fans weren't even born when you were last in the prem, such as the nice young chap "SkyBlue_Taylor" - how is school these days?
By the way "Astute", your owners have indeed invested in the club, and like all investments they will want the money back.
DRFC directors however give the money for the club and don't make arrangements so they can take it back again (being the nice chaps they are), hence we are debt free.

Oi Donny Rovers fan go back to your hovel, your team is shite, your town is shite and even the St Ledger is shite. Do one you inbred.
The oldest, longest, British classic attended by thousands each year is shite? I know it's not as good as Coventry Dogs but come on, be fair!

All of this doesn't hide the fact that Doncaster is an absolute dive. I'd rather pay a substantial amount of rent for the Ricoh than play at your two bob ground that is falling apart and I don't particularly like the Ricoh.

Our two-bob ground is falling apart? Really? Which bit? I'll get down to the owners (DRFC) and let them know.

Although I have never seen CCFC play in the prem, I may see us play in Wembley, and we have a better chance of getting in the Orem than you.

I have also seen my team play at wembley. And what a day it was, back in 2008 - a 1 nil win against the mighty scum, Leeds United. That was the League 1 play-offs, tha' knows.
We also won the 1st JPT by the way, back in 2007. So been there, seen it, got the t-shirt and all that...

And how much money have your owners put in? Just because its not reported doesn't mean they don't want it back.

Our owners balance the deficit every year, and never ask for it back. In factm, they are widely known for not wanting it back. Which is nice.

Be interested to see how many Massive Donny bring to the Ricoh, Shit club no fan base, Robins is staying. Get over it!!

It will indeed be interesting. We were only 245 behind you on average away attendance last season, and we finished rock bottom (and were even sh*tter than your lot)!

Oh, just to add we're joint 1st AND 13 points in front of CCFC.

And finally, if we win or draw at Stevenage we'll beat a club record with 12 away games un-beaten; I know you'll all be routing for us!

Cheers.

On the point about away attendances you know we didn't win our first away game until march last season? I dunno what doncasters away form was like but I am guessing it has to better than 1 away win all last season. I'm surprised anyone even bothered to follow us away last season

You and the rest of the league had a big advantage from our retaining of Thorn and subsequent dallying. Robins in from the off and I doubt we'd be 13 points short of you. Your owners must be fabulously wealthy to fund the club without wanting the money back-in any case it shows Donny like most others to be a loss making club relying on a benefactor.

And on the JPT, you may have won it but this is our first season at this level of football in 40 years an so the first time we have entered it

We're not seasoned veterans in this division like you have been

Our investors will get their money back by making us successful and then selling us. If they don't make a success of us they won't get their money back. I am happy with this.

Our recent away form is great. It is a club record 6 wins. Carlisle on Sunday to make it 7.

L Orient W 0-1 16th
Hartlepool W 0-5 24th
Colchester W 1-3 20th
DONCASTER W 1-4 2nd not joint 1st
Stevenage W 1-3 9th
MK Franchise W 2-3 6th

You just have to love stats ;)

5 goals against whilst scoring 19. That is less than a goal against a game whilst averaging over 3. If you beat Stevenage? We beat them 1-3 just 2 away games ago, the away game after beating your own team 1-4 :D

Those clever folk at Doncaster free press think we're at Wembley already! Suppose you get what you pay for.

BOOKIES’ favourite Mark Robins has quashed speculation linking him with the vacant manager’s job at Doncaster Rovers.

The former Rotherham and Barnsley boss, who this week guided Coventry City to the final of the Johnstone’s Paint Trophy, insists his immediate future lies with the Sky Blues.

“Absolutely I can put that to bed,” Robins told reporters in the Midlands, in response to the speculation.

“Opportunities will come and opportunities will go, but I’m not going anywhere.

“I’m happy to work here for these supporters and come into work every day with this bunch of players and this board of directors.

“There’s still a lot of work to do, but I want to be a part of that and bring this football club out the other side of a difficult spell.

“I’ve been here for only three months and I’m happy to stay here and try to keep everybody pulling in the right direction.

Robins can now look forward to a Wembley final after his side’s last-gasp 3-2 injury-time JPT northern semi-final win over Preston North End on Thursday night.

The 43-year-old has also guided Coventry to 12th in League One, just five points adrift of the play-off positions, after arriving at the club in September with City perched second from bottom in the table.

The former Manchester United striker’s odds eased to even money yesterday, while the big market mover was Gary Smith, whose Stevenage side go up against Rovers today.

Smith’s odds have quickly shortened to 8/1 after the former Colorado Rapids boss entered the market on Thursday.

Rovers said earlier this week that they will accept applications for the job until Monday before whittling down their shortlist and embarking upon the interview process.

The club, however, are unlikely to make an appointment before next Saturday’s home game with Leyton orient.
