Maybe Robins is going to be objective and play which ever players are in form and making the biggest contribution ! Just a thought …..
Thanks for sharing that, I’m sure you feel better now. 👍🏻

I still want a permenant CB, St and Midfielder

Do we need another midfielder?

Assuming (/hoping) Hamer stays then that's:

Hamer
Sheaf
Eccles
Allen
Kelly

For 2 positions

We'd surely have to move one of them on if we sign another.

Obviously if Hamer goes then yeah we 100% need to replace him

With 9 subs this season we need as much competition as possible .
I think Kelly won't figure much and will possibly start taking his coaching qualifications. His contract was one based on sentiment, and to be fair he has earned that for his role in our upturn

I thinking we could do with a proper back up for Sheaf

Players like Kelly, Fadz, Bidwell, and Godden set the standard in training every day, their value to a manager is far more than many people realise. They keep the dressing room in order and keep the work ethic right.

Kind of my point . All have been tremendous servants to the club ,even though some still don't rate Bidwell that highly .

Howley , Latibeaudaire? Kelly came in when he was injured back end of the season
To be fair I forgot about Howley but we miss Sheaf a lot if he doesn't play in my opinion. I'd be surprised to see Joel play there, I know he has for Jamaica but I recon he'll be in defence.

Yes we do but we are still Coventry City and can't cover every single position.

Can’t imagine us playing a back four but it does make sense of how to see how Dragus and Sakamoto would fit in

What’s interesting is seeing most of last seasons 11 becoming bench players, fills out the 9 subs nicely and gives us the improvement we need where they were good players to have around the squad for experience but not someone I want to have in my starting 11
