Leon Lobjoit (1 Viewer)

Fact is he's our most talked about prospect, so it is a loss. Youngsters like him tend to move to bigger clubs with better facilities, and with SISU making CCFC an utter shambles we're left to speculate as to whether he sees MK Dons as a better club, or whether he was homesick.

I'll stick to the theory that he felt MK Dons are a better club, because SISU have made us a laughing stock.

Also, get used to people blaming SISU - because they are shite owners, whether you like it or not.

Most talked about prospect....? are you kidding me...maybe on here he is but in the football world he is just another kid with a little bit of potential - move to bigger clubs, better facilities...well I can tell you MK may have a good stadium, but that's about it...did you go to MK away? did you see how many fans they have? your a mug mate, he has gone either for football reasons or he wants to be the big guy around town at MK...not because they are bigger or better - I am not a SISU fan, but I am not ACL fan, I support CCFC and want whats best...but I am not going to sit here and read your dribble that he left because they are a better club because SISU done this and that...so you stick to you conspiracy theories if that makes you feel better...

I reckon he left because he could see that this club was going nowhere under the present owners ;)

If I were Lobjoit I'd be pretty pissed off with a supposed big club club that has been kicked out of its own training facility. I'd be out of here straight away if I had any ambition of improving as a footballer.

How are we a 'supposed big club'?

You tell me. A large majority of our fans seem to think so, hence why some are moaning that we've lost a potential star player to 'lowly' MK Dons

That's because they wouldn't get 30k to a JPT semi final at £5 per ticket and a guaranteed Wembley ticket if they won......

Has it been confirmed that Leon won't be with us next season??

I think he is left footed, he is on FIFA and I think Football Manager, but he's shown he scores with both feet so I'm unsure.

He's definitely right footed, and nearly always cuts in. He doesn't provide width and his best games have all be central attacking midfield. But I would rather have a specialist ahead of him there.

How is he 'definitiely right footed'?

His worst games have been in CM as well. On the wing, in November-Decmber period, he was largely on the wing, swapping with McSheffrey and that was when he was at his best.

He played predominantly centre in that period around but swapping with sheff. In fact it was robins moving him there at half time vs Hartlepool which wa instrumental in us winning 5-0.

"It was always in my mind to do three or four deals to bring in players to give us some added strength," said Robins.
"Franck can play central or right-sided. He's got enough pace, he's tricky and can score so he gives us utility across the midfield.

Unfair challenge on Michail Antonio by George Friend results in a free kick. Dean Hammond takes the direct free kick.

The ball is swung over by Franck Moussa, Chris Perry manages to make a clearance. Corner taken right-footed by Franck Moussa from the left by-line, clearance made by Radhi Jaidi.

I remember the Baker goal against Preston was created by Moussa running down the left but favouring his right foot at the same time, so I'd believe he's predominantly right-footed, but his left's hardly just a swinger either.

He is definitely right footed and his best games were largely through the centre with Mcsheffrey on the left.

To be fair I did sell Kevin Thornton to Barcelona for 50 million in football manager,!!

(I was using cheats though)

My brother wasn't cheating and sold Stuart Giddings to Bayern for 8.8m. He was out of contract and that was the compo that the tribunal set-he was actually worth about 16m. Still I suppose at that time IRL he was the England U19 LB so must have had decent potential in the game. He had a 7.6m rated Craig Pead in the same side! Rotated him at RWB with 5m Lee Andrews, who after a "glittering" career at Carlisle I think now plays for Workington..

Think I'd be seriously worried if I was a Villa fan about Benteke though.

At least it won't be Barca poaching him...not much call for "the best header of a ball in England" in their style of play! Thornton, however...

This isn't true, I hadn't seen him take a dead ball, maybe I did, but I weren't paying attention, I said I also weren't sure, given that I'd seen evidence that he can shoot, score and pass well with both feet I wasn't sure, and I said FIFA and I think FM have him as left footed, so it would appear he may be left footed, but. Never committed to that.

Just because it said Moussa can play on the right, doesn't necessarily mean he's right footed, a lot of wingers nowadays play on the opposite wing to their dominant foot, e.g. Robben, Ribery, Messi and Ronaldo to name a few.

In the home games I saw, at the time, Moussa definitely started out wide, Walsall definitely so, and v Hartlepool, the highlights of him he was on the wing. I liked him on the wing anyway, I think he and Baker could swap maybe, I think Baker on the left may suit him a bit more, given that he likes to cut in and he isn't a very good crosser - just a thought.

Here you go....nearly all his touches are with his right foot http://m.youtube.com/#/watch?v=wIDInLGdmiE&desktop_uri=/watch?v=wIDInLGdmiE FIFA and football manager are wrong.

Seems more like nobody wants him if he's a free agent.

Seems reasonably chipper for a free agent. Guess we'll see in due course whether he's had enquiries from clubs who aren't up shit creek without a paddle..

Has this club released a single player that hasn't been put down to "Sisu incompetence" according to this forum.

Jesus, how stupid do those who slated Sisu for loaning out Conor Thomas look, he can't even get in a L1 side. Or that lad who went to Bolton, or numerous other releases/lost youngsters who went on to absolutely nothing.

The quality youngsters we've lost under SISUs reign canbe counted on one finger: Bigirimana, and he wanted to leave (from what I understand mostly because of the manager, not the board)
