I hate names that are deliberately misspelled. a few examples:
Tiphani
Patrisha
Mackenzy
Abbigayle
Alecsander
All they do is cause everyone to either misspell the name or everyone who has the normal spelling to have to endure people asking 'how do you spell that?".

I must admit that when my step-daughter told us she had a new boyfriend and his name was Rupert, I had to stifle a snigger to myself, but after meeting him I can honestly say he is one of the nicest, funniest and down to earth guys you would wish to meet. And an amazing guitarist to boot! He is a guitar teacher full-time and plays in two bands in and around London. Got a great vid on YouTube.

There's an American competitor in this Olympics called Steele!!

I would laugh my head off if he had a brother called Robert. That would be so, so funny.

Another one today, coincidently a new user on this forum. I hated him before he made his first post.

Malcolm.

Never trust anyone with a first name for a surname.
Or vice versa.

A friend of mine named her 3 boys Ryland, Cunningham and Barnaby. My brain still can't accept it, she needs a slap.
