Lucas reckons everyone who passes the Ricoh looks on proudly!

I certainly don't. It's an embarrassment and I can hardly bare to look at the damn thing.

Wish it wasn't The Ricoh.

With my susceptibility to the power of advertising and driving past it most days I've now had to put an extension on my house for all the fucking photocopiers I've bought.

She also said before from j3 you use to see big gas works and now after a long journey you see a proud arena. The whole complex is great, it may seem a downer because it hosts Carlisle but it was built for man utd et al. Overall we should be proud of it and not a prouder site seeing it sold out against Chelsea 09 and last year against crewe as it has a great atmosphere when full and fits in lovely with modern day football and boosts the city in every way.

Why do you think the Ricoh is an embarrassment? Do you not think Sixfields is the ultimate in embarrassment?

Yeah, every year other than this one (fuck you sisu, seriously fuck you), first game of the season, sit behind the goal, sun beaming down on our face, Lets all sing together rings around the stadium, the hair on the back of my neck stands up and I think it's good to be back and there is no where in the world I'd rather be than here.

I think it looks good at night with Ricoh lit up from the M6. Even from A444 it looks impressive. Close-up not so much.

Despite whatever people think, it is home!

I love the Ricoh.

I have always been proud of it. Do find it embarrassing to look at, at the moment, but that is only because it is standing there empty.

It's a great stadium and I cannot wait until we get back there.

I prefer the term 'rented accommodation'!!! LOL! Only joking - we don't even rent it anymore!!! Double LOL!!!

Half expecting Gypsy caravans to be parked on the pitch to be honest.

If no-one's there we might as well have squatters mightn't we!

That's preposterous. Think of what was there before. We now have an Arena that attracts folk from miles away, bringing money into our city. Have a quick look on Trip Adviser. If you're embarrassed by that, then you're an even bigger twat than I originally thought:

Think a key indicator is what other people think from rival clubs.

Heard guest after guest after guest on CWR before the matches always say what a fantastic stadium it is. Ex players, broadcasters from rival local radio, celebrities etc.

The only thing bad about the Ricoh is when it is empty.

Harsh. But expected from the likes of you.

I think you are all voting in the past if you like. What it there to be proud of there?

I love the Ricoh. It's a fantastic stadium. It's the fans inside it that were shit. Low attendences created both bad atmosphere and contributed to us not being able to afford to stay.

I love the Ricoh. Even stadiums in the Premier League struggle to top its facilities.

Who can boast a frigging massive casino with wall to wall sports on giant screens? The ultimate pre-match drinking place for me.

I love the Ricoh, but not as much as I hate SISU. I hope their scummy attempts fail and that we find ourselves home under new ownership as soon as possible.

Well designed, aesthetically pleasing to the eye and I recall the first day it opened and the amount of people who went having their breath taken away.

One of the best stadiums in the country to my mind, Edgy.

You started the thread by telling us how embarrassed you are but without giving any reasons why. You tell us what's not to be proud about?

It's hosted World Cup football, Davis Cup tennis, European Cup rugby; and some of the most significant artists in arena music. And it's in our city. If that doesn't make you proud, then your regular residence on GMK, which has dwindled to an embarrassing shadow of what it once was, with an acidic, myopic exchange of views from within the same gene pool is quite understandable

Nor me. It looks a bit scruffy considering its such a showpiece exhibition centre. It needs a bit of landscaping and tidying up.

I'm not proud of it.....its only a fucking building.

If I'd designed it or built it, I may have some feelings of pride towards it......but I didn't, so its just a building.

I'm proud of my kids. I 'm proud of some of my achievements.

But I'm no more proud of the Ricoh as I am proud of the local post office, the pub or a bus shelter.

Its just a building. Who fucking cares unless its got City playing in it?

Love the Ricoh. It's a great stadium. Something the city should be proud of. Even more so if SISU stop being a*seholes and get Cov back in there.

Well said MMM, what the fuck went wrong with you Edgy? You used to be a decent poster on GMK in better days, you now seem to be brainwashed by Fisher and Co's poison and spout rubbish like this?
When you come over the brow of the hill from town and look across at the Ricoh, it is a fantastic sight and that stadium would grace any similar sized City. The whole complex is superb , with what it can offer. All it needs to be better is a few capacity crowds, City playing at a higher level to achieve that, a rail stop and some further development of the surrounding land with a few more bars/restaurants !

A purpose built arena specifically for CCFC. A beautiful Stadium deserving our Football team to be playing "HOME" matches there. SISU wouldn't know what passion is needed to follow a football team, hence the hiring of twats that want to "Sit in the dugout"...wan**rs, that want supporters to "Text for Substitutions"....F**ing A**eholes that think "Taking away a club from it's home City is the way to garner support"....So as you can gather from my post, I like the Ricoh.

You're all too quick to respond and shout at someone with a differing view, without actually thinking about what they've actually asked.

CCFC is what makes the Ricoh. It's nothing without us. What's to be proud of?
