Saw an Aussie rules game when I was out there a few years ago. Melbourne Hawks against the Geelong Cats, at The Melbourne Cricket Ground. Think there was about 60,000 there to watch. Hate to say it but I was absolutely fascinated by it!!!! As a live spectacle it was superb.

If it was the Hawks, then you saw Hawthorn.

Melbourne are the Demons.

As a Hawthorn fan, being called the Melbourne Hawks has certain angry historical connotations!
