Ian Collins on Lbc, I've listened to him since the talk radio/sport days his podcasts are pretty decent too

Ooh, the days of Caesar the Geezer and Wild al Kelly which I believe Ian Collins was his replacement. Just before that you had the era of Nick Abbot doing his night time thing on Virgin which was hilarious.

May contain sweariness!

There's a great podcast with Mike Hanson and a guy called sideshow Kev
They were the fproducers on tslkradio they both worked with al Kelly
Search the podcast is the Ian Collins it's called creatures from the talk lagoon
It's a really good behind the scenes look at the early days of tslkradio
Ceased the geezer was brilliant some of his Friday night show with Eric hall and Gary Jacobs were brilliant

Having just watched Deutschland '83 (great TV BTW), I'm going into a Berlin-fest: Iggy; Bowie; Can; Tangerine Dream and Velvet Underground - which is not German but has the same ambience.

Strange I've had 2112 Led Zep III on tonight along with Mountain

2112 is not quite as good as Hemispheres but still an all time great. Would say IV is the best album Led Zep produced.

Only just found out Jimmy Bain died.

Also just found out Vivian Campbell, Jimmy Bain and Vinny Appice have just released a new album. One way to remember Ronnie James Dio.

New Musik. They are probably best known for Living By Numbers. Bound to be on Spotify for the curious.

Great track, I have been playing this to my kids for years, and the other day I explained the F.E.A.R thing to them and it blew them away, Corpses is another classic.

Saw Chris Stapleton at the O2 on Sunday. Was incredible. It was just him on guitar and vocals, his wife on backing vocals, a drummer and bassist. The four of them were huddled into the middle of the stage with just a couple of lights on them.

The response he got was amazing, half the crowd were getting so emotional they were in tears!
