Does anyone remember this article from back in December http://www.coventrytelegraph.net/news/coventry-news/wasps-rfc-talks-severn-trent-10576047 Supposedly they then shifted their attention to developing on what is already at the Higgs towards the north of the site because it is the easier/cheaper option. Do these supposed "talks" which have taken place have any implications for a possible expansion of the site to accommodate both teams in the future, or is it just a no-no? There certainly seems to be enough land to create further pitches. Also I read that somewhere that the Wasps' development will mean that the public footpath by the pitches will no longer be "public" so to speak; that is, it will be closed off. I can imagine why - most top rugby clubs would not like the idea of their training being view-able to the public. Can anyone confirm this?
