I think it may have been noted in the past that it doesn't. I think people commented in the past suggests he may not be too proud of the CCFC situation. Hence its absence I think they were just speculating though.

It is a very impressive CV, clearly a highly intelligent guy

Aye, but whether the rumour is accurate or holds water is surely up to the discretion of the reader? Me personally, I tend to go by gut feeling whether a rumour has merit. This one, hmm, maybe.
