Has to be done in capacity, plus I'm sure with the clubs ticketing issues suit them to be abl to sort and distribute tickets over the course of the off season as opposed to end of July.

It wouldn't actually be 15k. You have to lose a certain amount of available seats for segregation and a certain amount will be away allocation so what would you actual number of seats will be left for home fans? 11-12k maybe a little more?

Depends on the design of the ground. If designed right you wouldn't need to lose 3-4K for segregation.

On a tight site like the BPA design is going to be a compromise dictated by a number of restrictions. Can't an away team request 10% for league games and 15% for cup games of the stadium capacity? Seems we're going to loose at least a couple of thousand from the overall capacity for home fan's so that means 13k for home fans. That's a big restriction on ticket revenue and a hindrance to the clubs progress whichever way you try to polish it.

Well we have a new deal at the Ricoh so who knows we may now have a better turnover after all our rental costs this season is well below what most clubs have to pay just for the upkeep of there stadiums.

It still won't be enough as teams tend to have £20m+ wage bill. Our turnover will still only be £10.5-11m.

Well they seem though. We had midtable attendances yet bottom 4 revenues/turnover. They also then have owners willing to throw in another £10m+ pa.

So we could have a cheap rental agreement with all income going to our club and nothing but fat b@stards as supporters after eating 10 pies each game and no upkeep of the stadium, yet have one of the lowest incomes?

So I take it we won't see on here again that we need to own our own stadium to be able to compete in the championship

You need both. If every owner whacked in the same £13m limit we'd still have one of the lowest 3-4 revenues in the league.

No you need make as much money at the stadium as possible then an owner willing to put extra in.

The statement in the JR which said our turnover was actually 15 million this was never disputed. It was an a thread about a month ago when I pointed this out to you funnily enough you didn't answer and no I'm not going to look for the thread. You find it and you explain it.

Peterborough and Doncaster both have restricted income due to stadiums with 15k capacity and Barnsley fans must be more fickle than us because despite having a stadium with 23k capacity didn't even average 10k last season which surely must dent their playing budget big time.

Funny thing about threads on the BPA and the proposed stadium of 12-15k the same posters (for the most part) who say that anyone who moans about the budget while participating in NOPM until the owners have gone only have themselves to blame surely the same could be said about anyone who champions an inferior stadium would also only have themselves to blame for a lack of playing budget because it's ceiling is going to be hit and hit hard when you more than halve your potential ticket revenue.

If a 20k stadium with the capability of rising to 25k at the BPA was possible I'd be all for it. The same goes for any other site in Coventry or just on the borders although if it was a brown field site with plenty of room I don't see why you just wouldn't build a 25k stadium in the first place.

Talk of 12-15k would not only kill the clubs potential it would stop it ever being rekindled. It's a nonsense and shouldn't be championed by supporters in case it gives our owners (regardless of who they are) a reason to do it.

I do agree wholeheartedly with you that we need a stadium with a larger capacity than 15k. What, when and if a new stadium ever happens will be for another day.

Which will actually be surpringly correct from the usually (glass half empty) Stu . If we maintain this form as the season goes on our average will be 15-17 k.
An equivalent season in the championship 20-25 k.

Not really, I'd forgotten we were playing Walsall. That said it is a Tuesday night game after Xmas and so will be nowhere near yesterday's gate.....and I did say circa11k so that gives me +/-1k leverage
