Other teams will get stronger (look at Doncaster) whilst come January we'll be saying goodbye to Juke, Clingan and anyone else commanding a fee. Considering it looks like we'll already be some way behind safety come then it's impossible to look past relegation.
We have a mass of players all known as injury prone (Bell, McSheffrey, McPake, Deegan, Clingan) and a bunch of youngsters that at this rate will soon burn out (Thomas, Cameron, Christie, Bigi). We lack goals, only 13 so far, and Juke accounts for 6 of those and as for pace....not exactly much of that either. Confidence will currently be at rock bottom and we've conceded 7 goals in the last 2 games. All that and next up is West Ham (who have scored 4 goals 4 times this season) and then Cardiff (who have failed to score just once this season).
We're already 4 points off safety and I'd expect that to increase by the end of the month. It's difficult to see how we can turn this around I'm afraid.
