JOB to Scunny (10 Viewers)

If he had been given more game time rather than dropped at the first opportunity we may well be better off than we are now, I do believe that may be the case, but we'll probably never know, unless we get promoted and by that point no one will care. Especially as other players have retained their positions throughout poor performances it's a little frustrating.
He was ever present last season

I'm gutted I personally liked him, thought he was good at what he does, showed some great touches and put in some cracking through balls at the start of the season... Also that goal against Crewe at home was awesome...

Anyways good look jimmy.. thanks for the memories....PUSB

I like job but obviously not a Mowbray favourite. A bit sad for me but will have to trust the managers judgement .

Can't help but feel this is a bad move. I get that we have too many players and JOB isn't playing but still. An experienced pro and great work rate with a few assists and goals in there.

I've always liked JOB and we can do a lot worse. He is a first teamer in this league for sure. I wouldn't be happy if I was him either. He needs to play

This was a big surprise, I'm a big fan of O'Brien not sure why we would get rid of him unless there was something going on behind the scenes.

Bring JOB Back!!!!

Watch him go and boss it

Hope so, borrowing this line from tonight's Telegraph article:

"The move has perplexed most supporters but Scunthorpe's next few matches include games against promotion rivals Millwall, Walsall and Gillingham.

Guess Mogga knows what he is doing...."

Putting a few quid on JoB to score in his next few games ;)

Let's not jump the gun just yet. TM said he was looking for an attacking right sided midfielder. We don't know yet if JOB was let go to allow this to happen.

Maybe wait until TM has spoken on the matter.

Including you most of the time.

oh really? i would have to disagree

as i said i like him so may well have put him in some of my predicted 11s for some games but with rotation we do that seems quite wise

think only time i defintley wanted him in was when murphy annoyed me vs burton i think it was.

unlike you i don flip flop, i like job but trust in mowbray

He's gone as he doesn't rate him. That's pretty obvious. If wages was an issue we wouldn't be spending on players like Bigiamara who most likely will be sitting in the stands for the remainder of the season,

Oh and before our American friend starts - yes he's shit and cole isn't.

This is the smartest thing Tony has done so far, look at scunny's next few fixtures!! Add strength to their team to knock our rivals off their stride!

Out with old and in with new or in Covs case out with the young and in with the old.....

lets hope he comes back , he has been a great grafter at Cov and deserves a little respect, let's see what happens after a few games away.

Come on get with the programme.

We need to all worship at the Temple of Cole or face eternal damnation - namely be stuck in a lift with astute, Tony the troll and idms or whatever he is - for all eternity.

I trust Mowbray et al to do the right thing. He isn't getting into our team at present, I do like his work rate though.

Also seeing Scunny play Millwall, Walsall and Gills in the next 5 games so could be a shrewd move to help them beat them so the gap is reduced.

So would I if there really was such a lift. Imagine the intellectual stimulation from the 3 stooges.

Must admit gutted he has gone.
I like him and believe we will be weaker without him.
As for getting rid of him for another loan we will soon have no players of our own left.
Good job we are only allowed to play 5 or I fear we would have 15 every week.
Not only do we rent our ground we rent our players too.

Strange one. Mowbray been told to cut the wage bill?
Put your conspiracies back in your box. From the start Mowbray has either not played him or ALWAYS substituted him when he has.

Gutted.

[Diplomatic mode] A lot of speculation on here, as always. Probably mostly unfounded. Its an emergency loan, not a free transfer. Lets wait and see what TM has to say before people give others yet another reason to spark a forum war ;) [End Diplomatic mode]

From Kieran on the U18s commentary:

He wanted more first-team football and Mowbray didn't want to keep him here against his wishes.
