But when I said that certain posters jumped on me claiming I knew nothing and we have a premier league manager (which we clearly don't as we're simply not in the premier league and neither is he) then start leading the calls for him to leave not because they think he's to good to be at a league one club who's struggled the whole time they've been in the league save for the season said manager started with his own team both on and off the pitch, no. They're calling for him to go because he's not apparently good enough.

Consider that (if it's something that you're capable of) and then tell me who actually understands football. I don't claim to be an expert by the way but if what I've just pointed out to you isn't obvious then compared to you I probably am.

For the benefit of Sick "I don't read anything and then make up BS about posters when Gendull is losing an argument even though I actually agree with the poster I'm making BS up against because I love Grendull even when I know he's wrong" boy here's what I said about TM and how I rate him.

No it wasn't it was a rant aimed at me as you seem to have some obsession.

The fact that the subject matter you raised and my response to it was supported by several posters irked you even more.

You then made some stupid attempt with that new friend of yours from across the pond at one upmanship. It was rather like the scene in the office at quiz night where the hapless Finchy having been roundly beaten and resorted to a shoe throwing contest to show he won after all.

However, as had already been pointed out, you are more of a Gareth than a Finchy.

agreed but you must realise that grendel does this too?. always comes out with wumming points, makes out hes superior and then when wrong denies everything or blames the wording of posts etc

I agree, I enjoy an argument and a bit of wumming as the next person but the forum is getting tedious due to both sides.

You should probably stop tripping over yourself to defend Grendull at every turn, especially when you don't agree with him on something such as the Cole signing. That would probably have saved half a dozen or so pages on this thread alone. Not only because it would be missing a load of posts from yourself (especially regarding how you found it laughable regarding improvements in players fitness), the replies to your post also but mostly because it only takes one person to defend Grendull (whether they agree with him or not) and it really puts a rocket up him and he goes into overload and makes him believe more than ever that he's right, most agrees with him and anyone who doesn't is stupid even if they've done something he never does and that's explain their opinion. Grendull is very good at telling everyone why they're wrong, rarely tells you why his right.

Look, maybe you're mates in real life, maybe you're related, who knows maybe you are lover's. I don't really care to be honest. But when you side with him when you don't actually agree with him and fight his battles for him against people you do actually agree with you make yourself look not only silly but desperate for his approval. I have to be honest, I genuinely feel a bit sorry for you on this thread. You've put yourself deliberately between a rock and a hard place. If Grendull is a mate in real life just tell him he's talking bollocks and explain why. If he's any sort of a mate he'll except that and be thankful for your honesty. If he can't accept that then he isn't really much of a mate. But by jumping on anyone who's running rings around him despite disagreeing with him yourself you just look like his bitch not his mate. Don't understand why you did it.

haha...I just had a quick look over it and I can't believe someone would actually take a football forum so seriously.

For the record, I have never met Grendel in real life, and sorry to disappoint Tony but I can confirm that we are not lovers (something which he is fixated on).

I can't believe you take Grendull that seriously. I'm not surprised Grendull is fixated on being your lover given the way you hold his hand even when he's taking you down the wrong path.

It's a football forum, what is there to take so seriously?

We certainly share some beliefs, the most notable being about Thorn which we received plenty of abuse for. I am sure that there is plenty that we would also disagree on, especially music ;)

At the end of the day I would happily buy a beer for any member of this forum, it's what it is.

Fair enough. But you want Cole signing on for another year, Grendull doesn't think we should have signed him in the first place. You seem to be more than happy with TM whereas Grendull is leading the calls for him to go.
