I don't get this to be honest.
For his flaws, end product isn't really one of them, in fact it's better than the current midfielders we've got in that aspect.
His vision and ability to pick a pass, or even thread a ball through tight spaces is one of his best qualities, you could even see that in the game against Rochdale.
We couldn't quite make the most of it, but you could see the intelligence he added which was relative to earlier in the season from the team. Armstrong got some service again.
Ruben needs to be given more game time. If this season is a write off then we've got nothing to lose anyway.
Completely agree Nick.A bit random, if he had been playing week in and week out then it could be judged.
Unless Mowbray thinks it is something that will fire him up for tomorrow night?
Yeah me too and the possibility of dropping down the pecking order with Jones arrival.Completely agree Nick.

Oh without doubt but the way he is currently utilised puts him up against Murphy and Jones vying for widespots, when ideally he needs to play ten or left which I think is his natural side.I think he is a different sort of player to Jones.
Jones looks to be a direct run at you type of player whereas Lameiras looks to turn a player, lookup and thread a pass through.
Yep. I like Cole in the middle. Out on the left he seems wasted and I don't mean drunk!)Cole seemed much better when he went back in the actual middle.
Where he could just stay around the centre circle and fire passes like fleck.
I agree there is work to be done. But at the same time wonder where the Ruben from early season has gone! Or is it the other players who aren't the same?
Mowbray has stuck with Murphy who's end product his just as bad if not worse. Lamieras has played some fuckig brilliant passes this season. The one away at Milwall to Armstrong was genius. He's been very unlucky this season IMO. He's not one of Mowbrays favourites.
But Murphy has 10 (?) goals. Ruben hasn't, so his end product cant be that bad, surely? Not a bad return for a midfielder.
I do agree though the through ball V Millwall is proof that Ruben does have tremendous ability; that pass wasn't fluke.

[h=2]Ruben Lameiras told to add end product to his 'great ability'[/h]
wrong about this oneHe's rubbish and next season will be his final professional contract.
I thought early in the season that him and Madison linked up well when they played together? What positions were they playing then?Oh without doubt but the way he is currently utilised puts him up against Murphy and Jones vying for widespots, when ideally he needs to play ten or left which I think is his natural side.
Ideally he should be looking to oust Cole or Maddison for the No10 slot
Yeah 10 and 11.I thought early in the season that him and Madison linked up well when they played together? What positions were they playing then?
If I remember correctly, he played wide right against milwall. That's the position he scored in and cut inside on his left foot to feed through Armstrong
