Has to play in his right position then, he is not a winger, needs to be central in a David Silva type roll with a couple of enforcers either side of him. He ain't going to wo tackles but he can create and make space for himself to play, I would try him between Vincelot and Fleck

I don't get this to be honest.
For his flaws, end product isn't really one of them, in fact it's better than the current midfielders we've got in that aspect.
His vision and ability to pick a pass, or even thread a ball through tight spaces is one of his best qualities, you could even see that in the game against Rochdale.
We couldn't quite make the most of it, but you could see the intelligence he added which was relative to earlier in the season from the team. Armstrong got some service again.
Ruben needs to be given more game time. If this season is a write off then we've got nothing to lose anyway.

Yeah me too and the possibility of dropping down the pecking order with Jones arrival.
Oh without doubt but the way he is currently utilised puts him up against Murphy and Jones vying for widespots, when ideally he needs to play ten or left which I think is his natural side.
Ideally he should be looking to oust Cole or Maddison for the No10 slot

I have noticed sometimes nobody else seems to pickup on his passes, sometimes he will be expecting somebody to make a run onto it.

But Murphy has 10 (?) goals. Ruben hasn't, so his end product cant be that bad, surely? Not a bad return for a midfielder.
I do agree though the through ball V Millwall is proof that Ruben does have tremendous ability; that pass wasn't fluke.

He did one like it through a gap and picked out Armstrong I think it was the last home game he played in?
i think he is one of those who needs a run of games to get into it.

Murphy and Lameiras are completely different types of footballer I think.
All Murphy's goals have come from taking it himself, either a long ranger or a one on one type thing. Lameiras is more of a cog in a four part machine that looks to break teams down through passing and movement. This was our tactic earlier in the season and worked very well.
I agree with the favourite comment, Lameiras hasn't been out of form, he just hasn't had game time. If you take the 10 goals scored by the former, they are all concentrated into just a handful of games which summarises his season really, most of the rest there has been zero end product.
Rose and Lameiras should be blooded now ready for next season, as they could (and should) play a big part.

I'm guessing he's playing tomorrow night and TM's trying to encourage him to get a goal. A bit like how he told Martin he was poor to fire him up.
Either that or it's another scape goat from TM to try and justify to the fans why he hasn't been playing him.
My guess is that he'll be involved tomorrow night though. Hopefully that's the case anyway, I'd love to see more of him.

Mogga like every manager has his favourites and then loses confindence in some.
I think Ruben was initially taken on in case we couldn't get some of the attacking loan players in. Then once more and more loans popped in he went off the radar.

Pretty sure he's left sided.
Lameries is a number 10, he always has been through his development and has had 0 opportunity at playing the role whilst here.
If you cast your memories back to Millwall away, tell me what part of the pitch Lameries was when he played arguably pass of the season to send Armstrong free? yes centre middle of the pitch in the number 10 position.
A young lad who has outstanding ability on the ball, but not the pace to be a winger, one on one technically sound, but lacks the final ball as he is not a winger.
Funny he does not play enough, he ripped Sheffield United apart and yet hardly seen since.

Very true, however for the Armstrong goal he had dropped into the centre and fed the pass.
