Mowbray needs to go (9 Viewers)

he needs another season, no debate

Absolutely, by which time he will have cleared more dross, hopefully been given the funds early preseason like he's been given in the last week or so and the right players he needs early doors. Yes they'll be loans and rough diamonds but he's starting to assemble a spine to the team which will hopefully include an out and out striker and the uncompromising centre half that he's said on countless occasions is integral. Hopefully that'll be Ben Turner

If Mowbray has a habit of shopping at Aldi rather than Morrisons, then this could be causing the problem.
But his shopping habits have nowt to do with him managing a football team and therefore hold no relevance. ;)

How he carried out his managerial decisions at another club can indeed be very relevant to how he is managing this one.

Much smaller clubs with much smaller budgets putting us to the sword. Without doubt it's our manager, if he'd of been any good he would never have come here in the first place.

Angry, fed up and frustrated, taxi for Mowbray

Sacking someone after 18 games is ridiculous (although plausible)....sacking someone for failing after 18 months would be standard practice I would've thought??
What has he failed at? We are still ahead of where we were this time last year. Some might call that progress might they not?

...onwards & upwards PUSB

So we are forever destined to be on a downward spiral if good managers would not come here...I don't know why we bother existing

What's FFR mean? I have no idea.

My only guess is 'You can have my number Free For Rogering'

And if that's the case, may I politely decline the offer.

So the Mowbray out brigade gone quiet.... For now.
He makes the relevant changes to stop Gillingham, tweaks the formation is this a plan b from the first minute, all from a man who's apparently tactically inept.
Sure it's maybe a little late in the season but maybe he had no faith in the players being able to execute anything else. There were many groans from yesterday's team selection but it seemed to work. Horses for courses comes to mind. It was Time for us to stop the home team from having the run of the game and be defensive and compress to nullify them.
We know mistakes have been made but let's get behind TM and support him. Let him build a team of our own players that his team have scouted and recommend. TM has a extensive range of contacts he can use to build our own strong squad to build upon.
He's a clever enough manager to learn from this season and recruit differently.
Pusb!!

I still think he should go. I was out with the wife all day yesterday and playing golf today.

Mowbray has a plan B, unfortunately it isn't very good as plan b involves one or more of Fortune, Tudgay and Henderson.
His plan B in the Gillingham game was to bring on Armstrong. No other substitute was used. Armstrong was eliminated from the starting lineup because (in Mowbray's own words "he had played 3 games in a week"). So your plan B is to bring on a player you already admitted is knackered, rather than a fresh player. Seems like poor planning to me. Never mind the substitution being wrong, the wrong players were on the bench.

Good to see that your opinion is based on close scrutiny of Mowbray's actions ;)

The table is the only indicator I'm concerned in FP. A drop of 10 places is all I care about. Not concerned how we set up, what formation we play, who plays etc etc. Well actually, I am a little but ultimately the past disastrous 4 months is mainly down to one man. I know I'm in the minority on this one but I'm ok with that. Each to their own and all that...;)

Mogga has lost the dressing room. Players look disinterested, not motivated, tactics useless, wrong players selections...

What manager is allowed to go on with such a bad run of form since Christmas...

Win % must be the same as Pressley now?

We've just lost 1-0 away to the team that are going to win the league.

We beat this team at the start of the season and we looked like champions,

Mowbray has been unable to change things tactically or recruit properly since Christmas.

It's an astonishing downfall and you can't turn a blind eye to this. He is extremely lucky to be in a job.

it's not just about today is it.

Last week people were celebrating a 0-0 against Gillingham.
Behave. Who was celebrating? You wouldn't be slightly exaggerating Nick, would you?

Is that just 4 wins in 24 games now?

10 losses in last 14?

I can't remember exactly

If he has lost the dressing room it doesn't matter as most of the players won't be in it next year anyway.

To be fair, our season has been over in the minds of a few players for a while now. You might as well give him the summer to see what he's learned.

Then what? Get in a new manager to bring in his own players? This isn't the first time it has happened to him either.

If he is going to be sacked, it has to be with enough time for a new manager to build his squad.

Theres no point letting Mowbray build his players up pre season then sack him in October.
