I am talking about you keep going on at me with your random crap. The latest about being threatened by somebody, it's quite funny really as people will miss my other comment about by threads I guess.

The same as "being in my position", the same as me drinking in the bull and anchor, the same as me booing Jacob Murphy.

If you want to start insinuating things like "in my position I have to be a sisu spokesperson", then you should really start backing them up at the same time.
Crikey, you really are getting paranoid. Surely you don't take every post on here as being literal and exact but then thinking about it you're always demanding proof of everything.
As for the Bull and Anchor, I'm sure you have posted in the past as it being a place to park for matches and I assumed you went yourself.......... nothing to worry about, don't panic.

Not really, we actually reached an amazing peak with the Gillingham win and this immediately inspired bigger crowds, sadly continual poor performances after that led to the crowds dropping again.
We were in 5th with only 2 losses in 7 when attendances dropped back to 11K

Our owners took us to Northants.
They have no ambition.
Moving us to the Butts springs from the same rationale.

How is a move to the Butts going to be good for the supporters? Where is the extra income going to come from on a limited gate and no room for the much heralded money making facilities and shops . Then there is the funding of the build ! Have our senses been blurred by our owners fecking up on securing the Ricoh
It won't be better for supporters, or more lucrative for the club, but it will be away from the Ricoh,
which it seems to a lot of supporters is preferable to the wellbeing of the club.

How do you know it won't be better for supporters?

Based on what? A city centre stadium I would argue would be much better for supporters. Easy to get to, more local facilities etc.
And as for the financial side unless you have seen the financial plan for both the Butts and whatever Wasps are offering for a long term deal how can you know which is better?

Probably based on the telegraph article saying ccfc fans don't want to move, based on a poll that ran for a day on their site.

Likewise how can you?

It wouldn't for me, as someone who lives a fair distance from the City, if we ever did well I'd
be unlikely to get tickets.
So go to games when we aren't doing well as well with a membership or something to get priority

You would have the same chance as somebody who lives here surely?

Grendel based his on a poll after 45 mins & 20votes cast.
And he wants to run the trust.

I go to games all the time, along with son, bro and nephew.

Erm ,Yeah that kind of proves my point Nick.

I don't think anybody would claim it represents all city fans and I wouldn't want a headline saying "Coventry city fans dont want to move" based on a poll with a hundred or so votes.

Pretty sure Grendull claimed 80% of fans want it on one thread. Not only has the tide started turning on that I'm pretty sure 72 people are not 100% of our fan base.

You would have more of a chance than people in Coventry who never go. :)
Nick with work and family commitments I often make the decision to travel on the morning
of the game, my lad always wants to go but it's not always possible.
If I know we are going in advance then obviously I can get tickets before the game, I have
followed the club for 40 years and would be well pissed off if we actually start winning and
Start making progress in the leagues, to find myself locked out.

That would be the same with any sellout though wouldn't it?

Why does everybody assume we are sudden;y going to start going through the leagues?

I don't assume that , but if we did a sellout in a 15.000 stadium would be more likely. No

I said No..
Not whilst SISU are still owing my beloved club. I have lost any faith or trust in them to support any such move which I do feel would be taking us backwards.

Considering Sisu bid for the Ricoh was a fiasco, can't honestly see it happen with the BPA.

We did and the attendances crept up very slowly and dropped right back down as soon as we lost a game.

Yes because it's what Coventry do and have always done for God knows how many years.

Only when we have real success will we see a true turn in fortunes in the stands.

'Typical City' has become an all too familiar phrase these past 15 years or so.

No top 6, no play-off, no promotions. It's no wonder the attendances drop off every time we lose again. You can almost hear the 'here we go again ' groan from the stands.

That's right.... Only you fail to say, Tim Fisher on the day before the Gills game opened his f**king big mouth and stated..."We are still going to be leaving The Ricoh." which I think had a massive detremental effect on the following week's gate.

People said typical city when we were playing teams like Man Utd, Chelsea and Tottenham in the city centre every week. It's been as long as I can remember.

The way to show that the fanbase needs a huge ground is to get the fanbase down to the ricoh to show it.

Chicken and egg situation. Product first then sales imho.

Not really, as fans of CCFC it's about thick and thin. Fill the Ricoh and take the butts option away if thats what people want. Otherwise if we get 11 - 15k a week it looks like a 20 - 25k stadium is fine.

While that happens, the attendance might help get the team going and show Wasps that CCFC does have power, might even get us a better deal at the Ricoh if we beat their attendances every week.

Probably easier to sit at home moaning because we might not get tickets if we play Chelsea though.

Exactly. If there's 30K every week at the Ricoh nobody is going to support moving to a 15K stadium. And Wasps won't want us to go so will offer us a much better deal.

7-10K at the Ricoh every week and its hard to object to moving to a smaller stadium.

Why would people not go because of that statement? The bigger reasons the gate dropped, maybe the only reasons, were it wasn't the first game back, and the price was twice as much. They should have charged more for the first game, and reduced the price of the second.
