It would be a massive boost to the town centre, I also think we would get a load of addition transient student fans.
Even places like the motor museum and stuff like that would get a boost from it.

It depends really I think if they were blocking planning applications in the current climate they would have to be on very safe terms to do it.If it wasn't our fault you would think our fans and local media would be putting that much pressure on the council they would have to cave in.

Actual question (not sarcasm).
What have other clubs done in the situation of new stadiums? Have they shown in an depth business plan to fans with facts and figures and asked their permission?
It would and hotels and the bars
It's the kind of thing I would expect as standard practice
As they should have all the facts and figures in order to persuade potential investors and planning departments and the customer.
However I don't get the impression it happens
We might just be watching it happen right now, at close quarters.I'd love just for once, for us to focus on the cultural case.
Clubs as commodities will die without culture.
What, dying? We might just be watching it happen right now, at close quarters.

I hope not but the longer this shit goes on, the more uneasy it makes me feel. What, dying?
But then on the other hand you are worrying about getting a ticket in the premier league?I hope not but the longer this shit goes on, the more uneasy it makes me feel.
It's a waste of time trying to have any sort of debate with you Nick. But then on the other hand you are worrying about getting a ticket in the premier league?
Why would you give away 5k away tickets you cretin?I said no. Because after away allocation probably get 10k Cov fans maximum. 15k stadium simply isn't big enough G.
Highfield road was 23k. It's a step backwards. I don't want to rent of wasps either but at a low 100k rent as it stands it's surely better even if the rent was doubled.
As OSB said we can earn more but then there are more costs and for the sake of a 15k stadium it's not worth it for me. 25k stadium and I'm in.
They will have things like that for the investors and planning departments.
I'd guess the fans get to see a fancy 3d model and stuff but not the workings outs.
Why is it? People say the club is dying under sisu etc, but then on the other hand worry about what happens in the premier league. It's a waste of time trying to have any sort of debate with you Nick.
I'm out.

Well the Wasps action plan was to buy stuff and then get other people to pay for it.
And they're business afficionados apparently...
It did work. It's pretty clever in fact.Worked though, didn't it. What have Sisu paid for other than Lawyers?
Already a petition being drawn upIt did work. It's pretty clever in fact.
Looking forward to the same positive reaction if our owners ever do something similar.

What do you think the response would be if SISU said they were going to fund the building of a new stadium with a bond issue with millions also being paid back to SISU?imply that Sisu are going to buy a stadium and made yourself look stupid
Why would you give away 5k away tickets you cretin?
Sorry I've bumped my own post but can anyone help me out with this one .How is a move to the Butts going to be good for the supporters? Where is the extra income going to come from on a limited gate and no room for the much heralded money making facilities and shops . Then there is the funding of the build ! Have our senses been blurred by our owners fecking up on securing the Ricoh
I would say why didn't they just buy the stadium they were supposed to in theWhat do you think the response would be if SISU said they were going to fund the building of a new stadium with a bond issue with millions also being paid back to SISU?
I did answer earlier Buster, here you go, for what it's worthIt won't be better for supporters, or more lucrative for the club, but it will be away from the Ricoh,
which it seems to a lot of supporters is preferable to the wellbeing of the club.
Has it worked?Well the Wasps action plan was to buy stuff and then get other people to pay for it.

The most we've ever averaged in ticket revenue at the Ricoh was £12 - it's now far less.Just for arguments sake one attendance next season of 30k at the Ricoh at say £15 average ticket price is £450,000 of which we keep all that as we know.
So all well and good moving to a new ground which will cost millions and millions and endless amounts of time probably just to get this off field revenue but a couple of big gates at the Ricoh for whatever reason and you've got more revenue than you ever could of hoped for at the butts. Oh and we don't have any costs on that either other than usuals.
Seems to me this off field 365 revenue is a bit hyped up. Not saying we don't need as who would want it but it's just showing the above shows how success breeds success IMO.
The most we've ever averaged in ticket revenue at the Ricoh was £12 - it's now far less.
Why?
The most we've ever averaged in ticket revenue at the Ricoh was £12 - it's now far less.
Because out natural fan base at full market pricing is a lot less than 30,000 - the Crewe game was £5 a ticket so the revenue was poor - same problem wasps face - supply exceeds demand so pricing is slashed.
What will it be next season? Season ticket prices have increased so I assume that match day tickets will to. Surely that means it will be more next season than far less.
It won't be because:Sorry I've bumped my own post but can anyone help me out with this one .
No. SorryIt won't be because:
1) It will be harder to get to
2) Impossible to park
3) Symbolise lack of ambition
4) Any piecemeal development will Saddle the club with debt
4) Should the club (by divine intervention) become successful half of fan base won't be able to get tickets.
Also, can a balanced individual please tell me why this is the "real" poll?
