He and Harries will get bigger and stronger over the season. He passes the ball well and always wants it.

Thought he had a slow start, one challenge he seemed to back out of in exactly the way Barton used to.

But then he seemed to grow into the game. Almost like he heard me compare him to Barton and he had to put the record straight

I think in the first half he wasn't the best, but then again none of the players were as we weren't running into space. He ducked out of a challenge early on.

Then second half, when we had Jones and then Reid running into the space it was opening up Rose and Haynes and him and Gadzev were spraying the passes out wide like he was going out of fashion.

He didn't seem to dive about like another homegrown player with a headband!

Very skillfull, always wanted the ball, great range of passing, made a lot of forward passes through little gaps to the forwards, always wanted the ball.
Looked nervous first half, but then again everyone struggled.

Who Grendull? He should be impossible to miss, teddy bear, bobble hat and sits near the press men, hope that helps.

Yes the lad did well, echo most the comments on here. A positive performance, slow start, grew with confidence as the game went on, did duck out of a tackle but he's only a young lad not a seasoned hard man tho it was there to be won, however was in there half so not that important in a league cup tie.
Not to get carried away due to who he was up against but you can only play who's your opponents and he coped well.
Let's hope there is more to come but let's not slate him and write him off if his next game is not so impressive. Let him grow and he could be a great asset.
