Pretty much concert pricing
I didn't see how much it was for a pie or sausage roll. I'll make double sure I am not caught out and need to get something to soothe emergency hunger this season.

It's that money spinner called a captive audience. A business model coming to every element of life they can embed it in.
Airports, M-way services, entertainment events...do theme parks allow picnics in these days? They pass it off as Security or Health & Safety...oh - but them raking in the cash is just an unfortunate side effect.

I always take food in to most places, always do at football unless I am in a mega rush and dont have time.

It could well be down to the club wanting more profit making it go up...It was the first home game, so I asked. Simple really

Although the clubd 15% will rise accordingly, id rather eat before the game and always I partake of a couple of pints of Heineken in the casino pre match, nice cold pint and very much cheaper than the swill the contactors serve anyhowI was asking as I wasn't sure if it had or not. Never had an issue with city games to be fair. They look in the bag and that's it.

I went to the Test at Edgebaston. Ticket said no alcohol but on arrival bags where searched for cans of soft drinks as well. They didn't object to you taking in food and water....just as well when you are going to be sat there for seven hours.
On a positive note a pint was about £3.00 which I was surprised at, thought it was going to be more. Took my own food so can't comment on the food prices.

Where abouts do they do mad goose? Only Ubu and gold at the purity bar near block 18. And yep that's gone up 20p a pint. But I still think it's good value for a real ale.
Agree with you about the food - can't understand those who habitually have to eat at the football. As for tickets and parking, particularly ticket prices, the option to 'not buy it' is to not go to the game at all, and we don't want people making that choice.
Yeah, food, drink, even replica shirt prices - I'm not that arsed. Ticket prices do bother me though. Gives the less committed another reason not to go.
