...was Vlad completely taking out the 'pitbull' off the ball. Huge shoulder barge when the ref wasn't looking, totally unnecessary but sent him flying and completely put him on his arse, it was great!!

When the guy behind me with that fuckin drum dropped his stick
And couldn't find it for about 5 minutes. .... Bliss
Boooooo to the bloke trying to drum up a bit of an atmosphere. You may be better off finding yourself a library to visit on a Saturday afternoon.

To see Vlad appear in the box again and have an effort at goal so refreshing after years of watching Fleck who must have thought the opposition area was full of crocodiles as he never went in there.

Create atmosphere, with his merry band of Ferel chavs. FFS
If you feel the need to aimlessly bang a drum (out of rhythm)
Join a really bad rock band.
I swear if I hadn't moved at HT , I had a really good hiding place in mind for them sticks .;)
TBF I was having a bad day though.:(

The guy with the drum doesn't even watch the game. Why bother going? It's just an excuse to have a Piss up and bang a drum.

Watching all the kids from the academy on the pitch. Think Stevenson is the "real deal", Harries, still jury is out but did okay yesterday and Spence very raw.

Spence is raw, but he is full of trickery. If we can harness that we might have a great little player on our hands.

I agree on Stevenson. Harries definitely needs to bulk up a little and he didn't have any great big lump of a forward to mark, but he still had a very good game.

Was very impressed with Stevenson and when he lost the ball he fought and got it back again. A calmness and assuredness about the lad.

Spence reminded me of that guy who ended up appearing on reality shows. Lots of running and lots of running.
Not ready for the first team at all.

Why are Harries shorts the 1980's short short version? He looks a good prospect to me and I hope we can enjoy watching him, Stevenson and Jones this season as they all won't be here next season.

Wow... Two years later I return to SkyBluesTalk and this forum really has gone down hill, must admit I have chosen not to post on this forum because SOME posters (with an exception of the few I know personally) are either two-faced to morons or stupid.

On the topic of stupid I would like to address the below poster..

Firstly, who the f^*€ are you? You've come up to your first game today and you must feel so proud of yourself now that your famous with your little rant.

"Merry band of chavs" this part of your posts make you look very stupid, whenever I do the drumming I am always wearing City Colours, as do many other fans around me, if there are some fans who choose to wear Lonsdale or Stone Island, that's not my choice.

With respect to the "drum being banged out of rhythm" if it's so bad, why haven't you done anything about it, have you tried to create an atmosphere yourself in practically a library full of people, of course you haven't, you want to criticise others despite being inept and someone who likes to run their mouth.

Finally, if you want to come and hide my drum sticks, then I wish you come up to me and ask to do so instead of hiding on a forum full of keyboard warriors. Despite the belief of many, I do watch the game and would likely find more entertainment in you trying to back up your words on this forum as opposed to watching the rubbish I have had to watch over the last 20 years (in parts).

Some utter morons on here. Fancy kicking off over a lad trying his best to create an atmosphere in The Echo Arena. Them "ferel chavs" follow this club all round the country and are up the Ricoh week in week out backing the boys. I choose to sit in block 14 myself, I personally don't want a drum in my ear all game so I sit a few rows away. Problem solved. Rather than causing factions between fans park your arse elsewhere. Or, here's an idea...get involved! Bet the gobshite poster wouldn't have the wheels to speak the the lads? Just remain faceless on here. Big man! We all know where the drum is going to be. Choose your seats wisely

Liked the look of harries and stevenson , think spence is very quick played well considering we went down to ten men and that changed the dynamics of the game and would like to see more of him , feel sorry for thomas hope he makes speedy recovery.

How bad is the injury to Thomas?

Think Stevenson, harries and spence will all develop well this season. Stevenson could go all the way I believe and harries would benefit from playing alongside a bruiser of a centre half. At times he was a little too far from the forward when making a headed challenge. Both did exceptionally well considering their inexperience. As for spence...he has the pace and tricks...hoping to see him get his head up and link with others. He could be v exciting.

1. My personal highlight was seeing "homesick" O'Brien miss the chance to score with the last kick of then match.
2. I think the young lads all did well, Spence looks like an ideal late sub, who would have probably profited if we hadn't lost Thomas through injury.
3. As far as the drummer is concerned, I fully support someone trying to stoke up some atmosphere - there is plenty of room in the stand for someone who doesn't like the drummer. Although there were a few times when the noise levels actually rose quite high in support of the team, which was nice to hear.

I've got no issue with somebody drumming, I just don't sit near them if drums would annoy me.

Common sense really, plenty of other seats to move to.

I didn't even realise we had a drummer must listen out for him in Tuesday night.
