They're in non league division 5 at the Moment which has about 20leagues through the country at same level.
They'll go into a larger regional league spread over 6 leagues.
They'll need a nice shiny coach next year I would imagine.
If Im honest this year they won't go up, they need more investment / Fans etc, and they're already 14 points off top after 7 games. They need a real revival if they want to go up

More specifically would likely be the Northern Premier League Division One South. Same division as Bedworth & Rugby Town. Also currently includes Sheffield FC who are the world's oldest club.

They could go up this year but the division they are in now is notoriously hard to get out of. They have the budget and players to do it though.

So if they're only there for one max two years what facilities will they have?
Depends where they move next. Who says a short term deal won't be increased. I would suggest the short deal is to test how it suits both parties. Sensible if you ask me.

The league tier system looks a bit complicated to work out but I found a site a few days ago that showed what league any promoted team would go into and so on and so forth. I think it looked as if Cov Utd are just 4 promotions away from the National league. I'll readily stand up and be corrected if anyone knows any different. I don't have the link at the mo but I'll see if I can find one.
Can anyone else throw any light on this.

This is where Sphinx & Cov Utd are, you can follow the promotion trails on wiki in the panel on the right of the page.

And this explains the whole shebang..

Thanks Dart.
Yeh that's what I'd seen. I'll take a closer look at it later.
It shows what division each promoted team goes in to and you just have to tap that league to see where a team could go from there.

I think this season will be a stutter while they get their act together, they just recruited Ben Mackey (ex CCFC) from Leamington and they already have Kevin Thornton (ex CCFC and Nandos) on the books, I still reckon they'll finish in the top 5 or 6. The policy seems to be to pull in a few players of higher standard than the league to be able to push for promotion, it requires funding but that is the owners choice. At some point the cost will outstrip their resources but I imagine they have a plan to handle that situation.

FYI Non league tier 5 is League tier 9 and city are in tier 3.
Yeah they had been waiting for Ben to start playing,,think he was injured and or on holiday.
Scored a hatrick on his debut, they were finding it hard to hit the net before then.

I think, from the recruiting, they want promotion, it might mean a change in manager to get it

Isn't there a big re-vamp of the football league and non leagues being proposed, I know there is a proposal for the FL to be extended from 92 clubs to I think a 100 and another division to be added to the three we currently have. As a result of that I would think the non league below will also be re-vamped. Perhaps Cov United are setting themselves for any changes that may happen.

Wasnt that just to add in the b-teams that got rejected? I could be wrong.

No there is a proposal to add another league. Ccfcway says it's not happening though so it's ok.

Having read that, I can't see it happening. Less matches = less money through the turnstyles plus likely less advertising, commercial. TV rights won't be significantly bigger as the number of decent teams won't increase but money will be need to be distributed wider. Plus the current level of money the PL gives to championship, league one and two teams will likely get thinned out.

I think some sort of re-organisation will happen the question is how. The original idea I think was 5 FL divisions from championship to a division 4 with 20 teams in each, that I believe was rebuffed and back to the drawing board and the latest I heard was to have 20 in championship and 22 in each division below that would need 16 new additions to the FL. What it could do though is bring Cov United nearer to the FL.
