Couldnt we do a thing where we don't pay into the clubs coffers. Call it something like Not One Penny More. Don't know if anyone has thought of this before.

I will be attending the game, I think the reverse idea of filling the ground is better.
Can't see this getting much coverage "oh look 30,000 empty seats for a Coventry home game as opposed to 24,000."

Thats the thing, the ground is empty every game. There was fuss made about West Ham, for a day or so.
A protest needs to be something different, outside of the box.

Exactly, said on another thread last night protest before at HT & FT in the ground but support the team more than ever during.
30,000 passionate & vocal fans would get the media/ social media attention as opposed to the mickey taking a boycott would gather.

Said it from the start but nobody will listen. Even if they had a fancy dress day, look how much attention those hartlepool fans got dressed as smurfs on the train etc. I couldn't tell you when another club last protested though.
Then it will be back to holding up a card on 6 minutes for 32 seconds.

Still on that old soap box. I didn't stop supporting City anytime through the 70's, 80's, 90's & 00's and believe me there was some very low points.
I've stopped going now and I'll not return until SISU have gone.

Frankly I do think that an actual boycott, not a "stay on the concourse for 10 minutes" or a "let's go to the game but protest next to Jimmy" type thing. Literally encourage people, for a one-off game, not to show up, even if they do have a ST.
Yes, we only had a 2k attendance in the cup that nobody cares about, and yes SISU will count ST holds within the gate even if they don't show up, but if we can show the Ricoh with 30,000+ empty seats, that will send a hell of a message.
Only for one game, and yes I do support the boys but at the moment i think that the best way to support them will be to encourage a change of ownership.

I must admit I would be up for boycotting a game IF it was done properly. Maybe arrange to do something at the same time as the game to gain coverage like a march similar to the Northampton ones, BUT, (and it's a fairly big but), the fact there are a lot of fairly poorly organised (no slight on those making an effort) protests nearly every week it dampens the effect of them and makes people less likely to join in. If it was better organised, maybe longer in the future to generate more interest and get more publicity and less frequent it might have a bigger effect & from that people would be more likely to repeat as they felt they were actually contributing. The problem here of course is that results then pick up and people become less interested in how badly the club is run because on the pitch is papering over the cracks.
It's a shame, there are lots of people putting effort in and for the right cause but the fanbase is so fractioned (understandably) that there isn't a united front. The sad part is, i don't know if there is an answer...

Ask Wasps if we can borrow the stadium for a Saturday afternoon when CCFC and Wasps are playing away and have a Sky Blues Trust vs Sky Blues Talk XI* match (*or anyone that's not divisive like Cov Utd would be) and fill the place. 32,000 watching a Fan group vs a Message board XI and being bigger than any League 1 gate for the day would be a far being news story than skipping a game. No-one misses a home match they've paid for, the only people inconvenienced are those who would have gone to the away game, it's not giving the money to SISU. Just got to get some sponsorship to cover any matchday costs! Set it a few weeks ahead so it gathers momentum etc etc

Why not the reverse - Everyone attend Rochdale (28000+ in attendance) with T shirts, Banners, flags with the message "LOOK WHAT YOU CAN HAVE"
This is a strong message to any potential investor, showing Sisu that everyone is fed up of them, and it also has a positive effect on the team.
We should leave the "Sisu Out" chants until half time and make it loud and proud

That's exactly the problem. You'll never get a total boycott so it won't gain any attention any further than the local area. Certainly not to the point of making SISU take notice.
Said it before, the only way SISU are going is if they are presented with a viable exit strategy.

Be ideal if we could get a full house v Wimbledon and virtually empty v Rochdale would the ultimate fan power. I suspect a lot won't support a boycott though, what was the lowest attendance at Northampton couple of thousand, if we got as low as that it would be feat.
