Would be interesting if he took it, what he thinks would be different to tmListening to Mark Venus before kick off, sounded like he's already had a chat regarding the job.
I reckon he's a shoe in now
So what's changed since TM has left?
We have won a game ...scored more than 1 goal in a league game...kept a clean sheet after we had scoredSo what's changed since TM has left?
Apparently Evans is there.
We scored 2 last tm gameWe have won a game ...scored more than 1 goal in a league game...kept a clean sheet after we had scored
Would Venus interview himself for the job
Can't see why he would want to?MV is odds on for the job in my book. Sisu won't be able to resist the savings in wages and I think it's already been set up anyway (remember what TM said about using his wages?) Good luck to Mark but God help him, taking on the poisoned chalice!
New manager bounce. So what's changed since TM has left?
It was the same last game.New manager bounce.
Actually McCann playing & Vlad being benched may have helped somewhat.
Players choice (apparently)Listening to Mark Venus before kick off, sounded like he's already had a chat regarding the job.

Players choice (apparently)
The only proven record he has is his criminal record which is how he managed to gain promotion on a limited budget.Evans has a proven record at clubs with little money , either you like him or not he's the ideal candidate
Well that's what Tony Mowbray said when he resigned, ( QUOTE ) my wages can go on new players.Just a thought, but if Venus does take on the job, will there be more money available for the squad? There'll be one less wage to pay.
one way to guarantee they get a Yes man and without spending any money...TMs wages can be invested in the team...as ifWould Venus interview himself for the job
Yep, and if he's any sense at all, he'll turn himself down and give it to anyone else.Would Venus interview himself for the job
What I don't get is if the jobs that bad, and he's just seen his mate leave why would he take it on?
He is already here - on the board. He worked with his mate on getting the squad together. His mate left on his own terms, so that wouldn't be an issue. The team is in part his baby. I think he would take it until the end of the season - he knows how much/ little is left in the playing budget - and as a board member should see the financial benefit of appointing himself.
In addition, him staying would be a sign of consistency.
For that last reason alone, I hope he stays.
Yep, it's just one win. It means nowt.Amazing what one win does. People said the same about Richard shaw after his first game in charge.
Most signings have been dross over the last two seasons.
Even Jones, who must have cost a reasonable sum, looks a concern.
